About this listing

the villa is located between Monaco(6km) and Nice on the famous path of Frederic Nietzsche, just under the restaurant "La chêvre d'or" of Eze Village.
Because the villa is on middle of a natural park, you need to walk 5 to 10 minutes to get there.

The space

The house consists of 2 connecting rooms (a bed in 160 memory form matelas) in the big room, and in the smallest bedroom , 2 bunk beds). Under the court, I settled a double bed for summer knowing that the room is completely opened on the terrace, isolated only by darkening curtains. There are also a folding bed, a baby bed and a sofa convertible in double bed in the lounge.

Guest access

By walk (10 minutes ) on a beautifull trecking path quite difficult.

Accès à pieds (10 minutes) par un magnifique chemin de randonnée quelque peu difficile.

Diane and Patrice were lovely and accommodating hosts. This place is amazing. The path is very easy to walk down if your used to walking average hills and paths etc... There is a utube video someone has taken off the path if you wish to see which may help settle any concern. We dragged cases and all sorts down it was tiring but well worth it. We loved being so secluded and overall found the place truly magical. It is so homely and beautifully laid out. It is very charming and we loved the pool too. 100% will return. Thank you so much xx

We liked our stay in this natural reserve very much. It is so secluded and peaceful. One does not want to leave the place. We advise reading carefully the recommendation about the luggage - you anyway need the bare minimum for your stay, so seriously bring this minimum. We were not that careful and got away only by bringing back our things bit by bit every day of our stay!

If you are after somewhere to rest and relax this could be the perfect spot. Secluded and in a stunning position it has everything you need for some time spent doing not a lot. That said Be warned the house is half way down a steep hiking trail so you need to be fit to get to and from. If you want to go out and explore the Côte d'Azur maybe look elsewhere.

Amazing place! Highly recommended and Diane is the best host I've never had. Do not hesitate to book this Airbnb paradise in the middle of a natural reserve with all needed accommodations! Thanks for everything Diane!

This was a fun and interesting place to stay. It's a gorgeous location, and impressive effort has gone into creating a sense of retreat. It had it's challenges, however. The walk from the car was 10 min down a steep, rocky path. Bring a backpack (not a suitcase with wheels!). Mobile phone reception is also very weak (this is either a big positive or a negative depending on your perspective). Car parking was an issue: We technically weren't supposed to park where we did (i.e; aforementioned 10min walk!), it was only thanks to a long negotiation via our native French-speaking companion, that we managed to avoid adding an extra 5-10 min walk from the car to the accommodation. And of course, the third bedroom is open to the air! (as per the listing) Having said this, Diane was lovely and helpful, even calling to check on us after a big storm. I loved staying here. If you are physically fit and have a taste for adventure, this is a great place to stay.
