Baglio Occhipinti is a wonderful, restful place to spend a vacation in Sicily! The food, wine, and service are all exceptional, and Fausta is a warm and welcoming host. We hardly left the Baglio during our stay, as the pool, vineyards, free on-site cooking classes, and comfortable common spaces provided more than enough diversion and relaxation. Our room was impeccably clean, with much-needed A/C and a comfortable bed. The Baglio is also a wonderful jumping off point for exploring the Vittoria wine region, and dinner service includes some exceptional bottlings from nearby vintners and even family. We will look forward to returning to the Baglio on our next trip to Sicily! It is not to be missed!

What an amazing experience - I feel like I've truly experienced the real Sicily. The food is stunning, the location is remote and quiet, the pool area is gorgeous and the rooms are superb. I'd highly recommend staying here. Bruno looked after us throughout the week and he was a true gent. He didn't speak any English, and we managed to pick up some Italian, as well as (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate, to communicate each day. If you want to chill out and come back completely refreshed, this is the place to go. It's stunning.

We had the most wonderful stay at Balgio Occhipinti! The home is beautifully restored and the accommodations were perfect. We chose to eat dinner at the agriturismo both nights of our two night stay, and those evenings were the highlight of our stay. We would love to return to Baglio Occhipinti in the future.

We visited in September and stayed for 6 nights. Fausto is an architect and it's pretty evident that she's s good one! The old winery has been tastefully restored and it is beautiful in a very simple way. Our accommodation was simply furnished, great bed good cottons and a monsoon shower, little hanging space so we lived out of our suitcases. Breakfast was eaten outside with the other guests each morning. You can order an antipasto board for two if you're not going out in the evening - we did and it was fantastic - in Sicily you only ever eat food that is grown or produced on the island and they have a wonderful larder! Fausto's sister is the winemaker and we had an evening sitting outside with Bruno their father tasting one or two of their wines, excellent in particular the Neto d'avolo! Location is remote and you do need to drive to find restaurants locally there are very few restaurants although within 30/60 minutes you can be in Ragusa , marina de Ragusa, Scogletti and a number of other towns and villages. Our first time to this part of the island and as with many other areas in Sicily it is relatively unspoilt and its a better place for being so. If you want to kick back and really chill for a few days try here.

Fausta and the Occhipinti farm was our most memorable part of our 20 days in Europe. We spent 2 nights and wish wish wish we could of stayed longer! The property is magnificent and Fausta and Family make you feel like part of the family! I can go on and on about how great everything was, homemade soaps, jellies, wines, olive oils, just to name a few, Fausta also was a tremendous help in coordinating our travel plans, We had a flight cancel on us 2 days before we left sicily, and had to deal with new flights, trains, rental cars, etc.. and she helped us seamlessly navigate all those channels! We almost don't want to share too much to let the secret out more than it already is! Fausta if you read this, While we were in Rome, we ate lunch at Roscioli and had more Occhipinti wine, and were able to purchase 2 bottles of Occipinti Olive Oil, Gheta & Pantarei! It was the most amazing happy find to be able to leave Italy with a few bottles of your delicious Olive Oil! We can't thank Fausta and her Father and Mother enough for creating such a Special place to share with the world. We feel very honored and lucky to have met you all and to share a few days in your wonderful world! We have a lifetime of beautiful memories that are beyond words that were created by visiting and meeting the Occhipinti's. Cannot thank you enough! Hopefully See you Soon! xoxo Danielle & Geno

We had a wonderful stay at Baglio Occhipinti. Fausta made my husband, baby daughter, and I feel like we were welcomed by family. The home is just beautiful and the breakfast delicious. We'd love to come back with our extended family someday and rent the whole place!
