The Treehouse is an ideal place to immerse yourself in nature in the Southeastern Adirondack Mountains. This classic A-frame is cozy and inviting, offering a pleasant setting to relax and enjoy wooded surroundings in peace.

The space
Located on a little-traveled road on the backside of Schroon Lake, the cabin is bordered by New York State’s Pharaoh Lake Wilderness, a large tract of Forever Wild land featuring picturesque mountains carved by an endless network of streams, marshes and ponds. The Wilderness presents dozens of hiking and backpacking opportunities on trails that aren't as congested as in the more frequented High Peaks area. Pharaoh Mountain, Pharaoh Lake and Crane Pond are popular hikes. Just down the road from the Treehouse are easy walks to scenic Spectacle and Gull Ponds. The only other houses in the area are seasonal camps and cabins, and none are in sight of the Treehouse.

A 5 minute walk across the road and through the woods brings you to Schroon Lake’s Meadow Cove and a small sandy beach that is hardly ever frequented by the public. It's a great spot for a pleasant swim or tubing adventure.

A 15 minute drive finds you on the more populated west side of the lake and the Schroon Lake village, with plenty of places to shop, restaurants to enjoy, essential services to take advantage of, and an Art Deco era movie theater (circa 1940). Schroon Lake also has a 9 hole golf course, marina, local history museum, library, free summer concerts, town beach and playground, public docks and boat launches. Schroon Lake/North Hudson is home to the Paradox Brewery, as well as the renowned Seagle Music Colony which offers theater productions during the summer months. There are also plenty of opportunities for kayaking, canoeing and fishing in the area. In September, Schroon Lake hosts the Adirondack Marathon, which goes right past the Treehouse.

Nature and solitude plus all the amenities one could need for a great Adirondack experience and vacation.
