Located in NE Portland, this clean backyard studio fits two very comfortably! I will be getting chickens (kept in the back yard) by the end of September but they won't be out of their run unless I'm home. It has a full bed with nightstands ready for you to charge your electronics on. There's a small table with two chairs for you to eat breakfast or leftovers at and a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The wardrobe is for your clean clothing and the washer and dryer in case you want to wash your dirty ones. The bathroom has a shower with shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, and washcloths provided.
There is a covered patio right next to the studio that you are welcome to use - there's a table with chairs, small propane heater, and dart board.

You access the studio through a gate in the driveway and you're welcome to use the yard and covered patio. The studio has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot.

I live in the main house (I do rent it out from time to time if I'm housesitting) so if you have questions and I'm around I'm happy to answer them! I'm a native Portlander so I do have some suggestions if you want. If you have questions while I'm not around feel free to text me.
I bake a lot so if you want I will happily make some kind of baked good for breakfast (normally muffins, scones, or some type of rolls) with some fruit and coffee or tea.

I'm a native Portlander and the Alberta Arts area is one of my absolute favorites in the city! You can easily walk to Alberta street with its plentiful bars, restaurants, cafes, brewpubs, and shops. Last Thursdays are always entertaining with vendors setting up along the blocked off street!

Killingsworth with more to do is only a few more blocks away and Mississippi street just 2.5 miles away. Kennedy School (a McMenamin's restaurant, hotel, and theater) is less than a mile away and being centrally located makes nothing in Portland very far!

There's a bus stop less than a block away and many more within very close walking distance. It's a bike and pedestrian friendly neighborhood and I have a bike that you're welcome to borrow.
Street parking is free and easily available.
It's a 15 minute drive to the airport or a quick cab ride!

Loved the place. Very close to everything. The beer and the homemade bread was a pleasant surprise. Kiah did a great job communicating as well. I would stay here again.

Kiah's little backyard studio hideaway was perfect for a weekend trip! She provided all the thoughtful basics, it's close to lots of great food, the outdoor patio is comfy, fun, complete with heaters and the coded door makes check-in/out a BREEZE. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Kiah's studio. The unit is small, but provides enough space for a couple to stay comfortably for a few days. The location is great, tons of dozens of good restaurants, bars, and food trucks a 10-15 minute walk away and other parts of Portland are about a $10-15 Lyft ride away. There wasn't a ton of hot water in the single-person shower, so plan taking quick ones. The mattress is slightly past it's prime, but we slept great regardless, very quiet at night for a city location. There was a band practicing next door around 7:30pm one evening, but they noise bleed wasn't too bad and they were done when we returned from dinner around 9pm. (They were also pretty good!) The outdoor covered seating area was a great touch, too. Added bonus, it's only about 15 min from PDX. Recommended!

The private tiny home was as expected and the location is great! The wifi was a bit weak, but the house really was a great alternative to any hotel I could have stayed at. Loved the space heaters too. Thanks!

Kiah's space is amazing. I loved the privacy of the back yard and patio. The bed was super soft and you couldn't ask for a better host! We would definitely come back in the future, and 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a chill Portland experience!

Great value if you need a place to crash in Portland. Access to neat restaurants in Alberta Arts. Quiet and relaxing space. Loved it and would definitely stay in the future.

From the Pacific Northwest. I like being outdoors, reading, baking, going out for food and drinks, and going to see music. I love where I live but I love to travel too! I speak English as well as some Spanish and French.
