Light, peaceful room with king size bed and shared bath in a blissfully quiet 1820s Vermont farmhouse on a five-acre tree farm with a fresh spring and stream frontage. Beautiful rural setting, yet only a mile to town! Cool off in the stream, enjoy spectacular sunsets from the deck, an evening by the fire pit gazing at the stars, or just watch the trees grow.

The space
We are a Christmas Tree Farm with a large, well maintained, updated farmhouse originally built in the 1820s. The house and barn are powered by solar energy, and the water is provided from a 500 foot deep clean well. We have stream frontage at the bottom of the property which is lovely for sitting or wading on hot days, there is also a fresh spring on the property.

Bedding is luxurious 100% linen or 100% cotton percale sheets - your choice! We have down duvets, down pillows, or for those with down allergies, we have down alternative available on request. The bathrooms are stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner that are vegan, plant based, and paraben free.

Guest access
Covid Considerations: the interior common areas of the house, including the kitchen, living room, and dining room, are temporarily not available for use by guests due to social distancing considerations. Please message me with questions.

All guests are welcome to enjoy the home's common areas including the kitchen, living room, dining room, sun room, and music room. There is an outdoor patio with chaise lounges, sun umbrellas, and an outdoor dining area on the deck; a large backyard, a barn, and a stream. Guests are welcome to prepare food in the main kitchen, we ask simply that you clean up after yourselves. You are welcome to make use of the abundant spice collection, oils, vinegars, superfoods, staples and partake of freshly ground whole bean coffee and decaf, and a variety of teas.

I love to travel and have lived all over the world, I'm very curious and interested in many viewpoints. I enjoy meeting people but I also have a hermit side. I enjoy peace, delicious food, cooking, building things, friends, family and especially my two very awesome grown children. I love the outdoors, skiing, hiking, the beach, and a flexible relationship with yoga.
