Quite homestead, on the outskirt of Chandigarh, used as a holiday home by a industrialist. Two separate Villas surround a large swimming pool set up in 5acres of garden over looking the Punjab country side. The master bedroom with an attached Jacuzzi and sunna. Amenities- basket ball court, car for site seeing, a near by lake for picnic. Cook and cleaning staff available.
The farmhouse reveals its exceptional qualities to you from the get-go. As you drive towards the main house flowering plants and a gurgling fountain welcome you. The farmhouse clearly has infinite charm and style and the decor of the house is impeccable and does complete justice to the grandeur and sophistication of those who call it home. The homestay has 5 enormous guest bedrooms both with dressing rooms and huge ensuite baths. The rooms are sunny, cheerful and instantly disarming. The home also has many indoor common areas with music systems and TV. Credit for the flawless upkeep of all this goes to Mrs. Majithia, a lady with immense poise and dignity. The homestay is ideal for those travelling to Manali using the new route via Ropar as opposed to the one via Chandigarh. Those visiting Chandigarh will make a grave mistake by staying in the main city rather than in this stunning homestay, which is just 45 mins away. This is also a popular overnight stop for people who are heading to Amritsar and the Golden Temple. Kasauli and solan are convenient day tours from here. On the property itself one can enjoy swims and go on nature walks to get close to peacocks, nilgais etc. A walk along the canal and a visit to the nearby village are also highly enjoyable.

I belong to illustrious family of Punjab and have been educated in one of the finest boarding schools our country has to offer. I have done my post grad from Australia and currently run my own businesses. I love to travel and make it a point to discover a new place/country every year and on my recent travel fell in love with the culture and architect of Spain.
The reason i have opened one of my homes to people is for them to experience the warmth and hospitality along with the shear beauty of Punjab.
