The Hen House is our smaller house at Canaan Valley. Two rooms with queen beds share a lovely full bath.
The master suite is out of this world with a spa quality bathroom complete with a clawfoot tub and stream shower. An on demand water heater means you never run out of hot water!

The space
Welcome to the Hen House at Canaan Valley.
Step in the door to top of the line everything . There are heated barn wood style tile floors throughout the house.
Enjoy the two sided fireplace from the Living Room or the huge Master Wing.
The Master Bath boasts a spa quality bathroom complete with a claw foot tub and a steam shower.
There is a 4 zone split level heat and Air Conditioning unit to make sure everyone is comfortable.
Cook an amazing meal on the commercial Bluestar range and utilize the two dishwashers to clean up the mess.
The possibilities are endless before even stepping out onto the picture perfect grounds.
There are over 40 acres of wooded hiking trails and plenty of pavement for bikes. There is really no reason to go anywhere, but West Asheville is an easy 10 minute drive and downtown is only 15 minutes away.
This property is run and managed by the owners. We live on close by and are always available if needed, but hardly noticed if not.
The Mane House (property #1317530) sleeps 18 and is available for rent with or separately from the Hen House. The houses sit about 50 yards from each other with a privacy screen of trees between.

My wife and I have been married for almost 25 years. We raised our family in the Mane House for over 5 years. After a few children moved out, we found ourselves with way more house than we needed. Building a smaller house on the Farm to live in allowed us to stay on this amazing property with our animals and also to share this beautiful place by renting out the Mane House. We have met some wonderful people and look forward to meeting many more.
