My wife and I split time between Berlin, Germany and Portland, Oregon. Originally from Washington, DC I moved to Portland to work in conservation with the Sierra Club. I took a 2 year hiatus as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal, West Africa, and then came back to work in business. I started my own company, GlobeSherpa, a technology startup building mobile ticketing and payment apps that I sold to Daimler AG. Now I am Entrepreneur in Residence with Elevate Capital, a venture capital fund. I am passionate about wilderness and can be a great resource for information about hiking, camping, skiing, fly-fishing, rafting, etc. I'm also a big foodie and into the local music and arts scene so just ask and I'll share my recommendations. We love traveling and exploring new cultures and languages. I speak French, Spanish, and Wolof (a West African dialect) and am learning German. I really enjoy meeting new people and helping travelers discover the Gorge and the Portland area. Cheers! Nat
