This place is located on a little farm about a 15 min walk from the port. Very rustic, but interesting to see something other than the typical apartments you see in Greece. If you don't speak French, this place may be a little out of your comfort zone, but the family is quite nice. Imagine staying with distant relatives that you've only heard about from your parents. All in all, the rooms were small, no a/c but a very strong fan. It really is "farm" living so be prepared for a few bugs and a rooster waking you up in the morning! Little kittens were everywhere and it was fantastic to wander among the fig and olive trees that surround the property. Just make sure you're ready to "rough it" a little bit.

We were picked up by Gorgos when we arrived milos. Gorgos is super nice and very easy to be recognized in his sailor hat! (Which Rita had informed us ahead, so it's pretty easy for us to find him). When we arrived, Tassoula (Rita's mother) gave us a warm hugs and let us just feel like at home. Since we are only staying for a day and half. Tassoula offered to take us around milos, and only cost us €20 for gasoline. We had a fun tour with Tassoula. The best part staying over is the delicious breakfast (€5 extra) and dinner (€10 extra). Tassoula provided great amount of food and only cost so little if compared with the restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and will soon be back for sure!

This is a studio experience with a 5 star hospitality. I was picked up by Gorgos on the way which was beyond the call of duty. I was greeted by Tousoula with a piece of cake as I arrived. The experience was a rustic piece of Greece with a picture postcard feel. The rooms are small but the hospitality is huge. The food was exceptional and was a culinary experience. I would recommend Rita's as a wonderful place to have a break.

The place is located perfectly: it's in walking distance from the port, yet it feels super peaceful and quiet, surrounded by olive trees and hills. As a bonus, there was the cutest and liveliest bunch of kittens, always romping around on the lovely terrace :) Our host was Rita's mother, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming and is one of the reasons that we will keep our stay on Milos in such good memory.

This was a bit of a hike from the port but Rita's father was outside the Mining Museum as arranged. It was night time and the pathway up to the house is a little rough but her father took our small cases up on his scooter. We were greeted by her mother and some cute kittens! She very kindly gave us some refreshments and as we had just made a long boat ride from Mykonos, her father so very kindly offered to run down to the village and get us some dinner. The rooms are small but convenient. There are nice restaurants near by and it is convenient for car rental and quiet as it is off the main street.
