Garden view

Soak up the view during your stay.
Daisy Beach House in Walton-on-the-Naze has bright furnishings, white walls, tongue & groove panelling, bunting, fairy lights and lots of fun and quirky accessories! You will really feel the holiday vibe when you walk in! The house is in a fab location right behind the beach huts & the prom so just a short stroll and you're on the beach! The house even comes with a front row Beach Hut included at certain times of the year and with comfy beds and sea air - you will sleep like a log!

The space
Accommodation comprises:

Ground Floor
Everyone is surprised at how spacious the house is as it doesn't look that big from the front but it opens up to a big open-plan kitchen diner at the back overlooking the garden so is the perfect place to go as a group of friends or family as you can all sit comfortably at the large kitchen table for a chat and a cup of tea / G&T!

Sitting Room - TV with Netflix, electric log burner
Kitchen Diner - dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso machine, microwave, electric hob and oven, high chair.
Twin Bedroom / Playroom (when our family stays, we use this room as a playroom as we don’t need the 4th bedroom) It has 2 full size single beds, one of which can slide under the other to make more space in the room. It also has a TV with Netflix on it. There are plenty of toys provided for small children and board games / cards etc for older ones!

Upstairs
Master bedroom - huge sunny room facing south with very comfy KINGSIZE bed and a little glimpse of the sea between the two houses opposite! There is plenty of space for a travel cot if you want to bring one
Twin Bedroom - two full size single beds, one of which slides under the other if not needed to make more space eg to put a travel cot
Double Bedroom - double bed (4’6)
Family bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin and loo
Separate loo and basin

Outside
Fully enclosed rear garden painted in bright beach hut colours with decking and covered seating area and BBQ. There’s a lawn and pretty flowerbed too and space to store bikes.

In 2022 we had new double glazed windows and doors installed to keep the place nice and cosy in winter and cool and quiet in summer and of course along with the solar panels and new radiators, it helps achieve our aim to be as environmentally responsible as possible!

Beach Hut
I also have a beach hut hire business (search for daisybeachhuts) and own 8 front row huts at Walton a short stroll from the house. The house comes with a beach hut included for stays during the winter months. During the rest of the year, a beach hut is subject to availability so if you want to guarantee one you will need to book and pay for it in the usual way on my website (daisybeachhuts) If however, I have one available last minute on the day then it's yours for just a £5.50 cleaning fee

Other things to note
Please note that charging of any electric vehicle from the house is not allowed

There is a highchair in the cupboard under stairs there are legs which need to be attached also there

Neighbourhood highlights

Daisy Beach House is situated on the street right behind the beach huts at the pier end of Walton so the beach and prom are easily accessible from the house. It’s just a short stroll to the pier, the centre of Walton and an Aldi, Marks and Spencer Food and a fabulous pub called The Victory! Walton also boasts the second longest pier in England, a marina with a lovely restaurant called Harbour Lights, several pubs, fish and chip shops, hair and beauty salons, souvenir shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, an indoor swimming pool complex, childrens play areas and even a virtual reality studio for all your gamers young and old!

Walton is not just a summer destination either! There’s nothing nicer (in my opinion) than a bracing walk along the prom and beach on a sunny winter’s day followed by a cup of tea in the shelter of a beach hut staring out to sea then a delicious meal in our favourite pub or fish and chips back in the hut! There’s loads to do in summer and winter including bike rides, fossil hunting at the Naze, seal watching trips from the marina and of course, not forgetting, the pier with its arcades, bowling and rides meaning there’s something to do even on a rainy day!

Walton is a traditional seaside town, unique in that it is surrounded on three sides by the sea. Its three miles of gently shelving sandy beaches facing south-east stretch from Frinton to the Naze. To the north, the sea sweeps round the Naze into the backwaters, known as Hamford Water, and the Walton Channel stretches right down to Walton Mere, only 300 yards from the main beach. The Naze, as well as being a natural open space, is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) famed for its fossils found in the Red Crag cliffs.
As well as these glorious natural features, Walton is known for its pier – the second-longest in the country – its yacht club and marina, and its iconic tower at The Naze from where panoramic views can be enjoyed of the Walton backwaters, Harwich and Felixstowe and the Suffolk coast.
The tower – built in 1720 by Trinity House as a navigational aid for ships making for Harwich Harbour – is now an art gallery and tea rooms.
Walton has a fascinating history, wonderful walks and nature reserves, and is one of the driest places in England, with an average rainfall of less than 20 inches! Happy Days!!

My work: Daisy Beach Hut Hire
Speaks English and French
Business
I started off buying beach huts and renting them out for daily hire then decided to try my hand at doing up a house using my beach hut style and thus, Daisy Beach House was created! I've really enjoyed styling a house from scratch and indulging my passion for all things pastel-painted and bunting-clad! My family absolutely love staying here ourselves and feel the stresses of daily life lift as we approach Walton and feel the calming sea air!
