My group of nine girls stayed at Christina's house in Cambridge and we loved it! We had plenty of room for all of us to sleep in a bed and hang out. The house, and particularly the kitchen, were well appointed. We had a lot of fun sipping wine on the front porch (the fan was great to have in the humid weather!) and enjoyed the beautiful back yard. Christina was very responsive....there was stormy weather during our stay and Christina checked in to make sure everything was okay. Christina gave great advice about things to do in Cambridge, and as she mentions, there is so much to do within walking distance. We had a great dinner at the High Spot, went on a chartered sail on a skipjack, and rented paddle boards. I highly recommend Cambridge and Christina's property. We will definitely come back!
Christina was an exceptional host! She not only has an adorable historic home, but she was also quick to respond and gave excellent recommendations. Cambridge has so much to offer- kayaking/paddle boarding with Blackwater Peddle & Paddle, walking the quaint historic streets, exploring the Taste of Cambridge festival and delicious food at Bistro Poplar, Blackwater Bake goods & Coffee and Stoked! We top off the trip with a visit to Emily's Produce to pick blackberries and wildflowers- and stocked our coolers with fresh produce and baked goods! I can't wait to return :)
Christina's home accommodated me and my friends perfectly. We enjoyed grilling and dining al fresco. The patio lights add a charm to the space and we were joined by fire flies every evening. The location relative to town is very convenient. We spent time at Great Marsh Park and Long Wharf. We drove but you could get to both by walking. A few afternoons involved T-storms and rain. The screened in front porch was a good alternative to being stuck inside. The AC kept the house cool and we had a very comfortable stay!
The house is well laid out for a huge group. My sailboat crew of 9 really enjoyed this, our second stay. We can easily cook for 11 and seat them for dinner. The patio out back is really pleasant and we enjoyed sitting there before dinner. There is a large washer and dryer which is useful and appreciated.
