Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
In the summer of 2019 we installed a brand new shepherd’s hut in our large garden. The hut, built by a local company, is sat in an open space away from our own house, and has a great view down the garden.

It is fully equipped with:

The space
We run a small plant nursery, but currently only sell our plants at our gate. Also, we have around 25 ducks, hens and bantams, 2 mad dogs and 3 cats.

Neighbourhood highlights

We are in the beautiful village of Southstoke, which is just 2 miles from the centre of Bath.
The village has its own pub (The Packhorse) which is owned by the community, who saved it from closure.
Buses run to Bath from the end of the lane (5 min walk).
Although close to Bath, we are right in the countryside, and so there are lots of walks on the doorstep.
We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay – linen, towels, coffee, tea, and breakfast cereals, bread and juices.

We live in a small house but have a ginormous garden. In 2019 we decided to share some of our space, so bought and installed a brand new shepherd's hut. I work onsite in my small plant nursery (opened in 2019). We sell the plants on a stand at our gate. We have a variety of ducks, bantams and hens, about 30 in all. And we have 2 dogs and 3 cats, so plenty of animals in and around the garden.
