Gwrych Castle's historic beach house, Ty Crwn, has been restored to its former glory. Situated 50 metres from the shoreline, the cottage overlooks the Irish Sea and Pensarn Beach SSSI.
The beach house was built by the Lloyds of Gwrych and was last used by the Countess of Dundonald for sea bathing.

Two private drives lead to Ty Crwn, one from Abergele-Pensarn Railway Station and the other, the A547

Located on the beach overlooking the Bay of Liverpool and the Irish Sea.
About 1.2 miles along the main road from the cottage is the Valentine pub in Llanddulas, and the same distance to the pubs in the centre of Abergele.
There are beach cafes on the coastal path and promenade as well. Tesco’s Superstore is 1 mile away in the centre of Abergele and the Co-Operative in Pensarn is also about 1 mile away.
