Another example of how AirBnB just keeps giving. Jean has a stunning place and made us feel very welcome. We expected a room in a house to break our stay and ended up with a self catered unit to ourselves. If we'd known/read the page we'd have runes up with ingredients to cook/BBQ. And the pool is one of the best we've ever had in a rental stay. Superb.

I fell in love with France at the age of 17 and it lasted for ever! It is an absolute joy to be living in this part of France, with beautiful countryside and a one of the widest choice of wines in France. We have both learned a lot about viticulture in our 16 years here and there will always be more to discover.

I love swimming and life in the outdoors, especially in the garden at Les Mortiers - it's a passion, We grow all our own vegetables.

Mike spends his time making fishing lines in pure silk, one of the few in the world, and in his spare time enjoys woodworking.

Travelling is now mainly spent in France with our caravan with occasional trips to the United Kingdom.

We are both sociable but can be equally unobtrusive. It is a sense we have developed in 16 years of welcoming guests at Les Mortiers. We both also enjoy the quieter winter months to rest and recuperate.

If I was asked for a life motto, then it would be "Be Positive" - the same as my blood group!
