Greatest of places 3 blocks from theaters in a beautifully maintained home with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, sitting rooms and dining downstairs and guest parking at the back. This is one of the top B&Bs in Ashland. Breakfast is great prepared for us. Coffee on demand and a welcoming wine and chocolate treats for a snack

Such a beautiful location ! The entire facility is immaculate and perfectly charming . Darrell was taking care of us , and he could not have been more gracious. Loved learning about the history of the home . Just steps away from all of the Main Street action in Ashland , and from the park . Definitely want to come back and stay here during the festival !!

This is a very special place. Feels like a step back in time, with the conveniences of today. We hope to return during "the season" to experience more.

This place is exactly as advertised. The location is great, close to downtown restaurants and venues for plays and within reach of excellent walks in nearby neighborhoods. I'd recommend this spot for someone who is a first time visitor to Ashland or to regular travelers to the area. The house and the rooms are very cute, tidy, and clean. Sadly we didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but maybe next time!

Darrell and Pam were absolutely lovely hosts. Nice to stay somewhere with hosts who genuinely love the area and easily engage with guests. Brunch was delicious every day! Most convenient location... go out the door and you're near everything you need/want: Lithia Park, all of the restaurants, shops and of course the Shakespeare Festival. Prepare to see deer both in front and back of the property. Darrell (a wonderful mystery book author... look him up!) and Pam made the week comfortable and enjoyable... we are grateful!

Nightingales Inn was the perfect spot for my Ashland stay. Its location, just across the creek from downtown, made restaurants, shops, and the Festival theaters a brief 5-10 minute walk away. Pam and Darrell were so friendly and hospitable, and breakfasts (Darrell did the cooking during my stay) were delicious. My room was quiet and very comfortable, with super-soft sheets and a spacious, well-appointed bathroom. I had chosen a B&B because I was hoping to find like-minded people to talk theater with, and the other guests were exactly that. Really, it was the ideal place to stay, and I can't think of anything I would change.

Host made us feel welcomed. House was very English style, quaint. We had twin beds that were very comfortable except short (I'm 5'6"). House and room were clean and tidy.
