Wow! The Gardensea Apartments, Maria, and her family were wonderful! They went above and beyond to care for us, make our stay on the island of Patmos the best that it could be, and help us with any questions or needs that we had! Our ferry did not come in until late at night and Maria met us at the port. She took us to the apartment and showed us where everything was and helped us settle in quickly! The next morning she came by to arrange to take us to a place where we could rent an ATV to travel around the island. She had water, bread, crackers, cheese, and fruit waiting for us so the next morning we would have some breakfast.
The GardenSea Apartments were a little piece of heaven on earth! It was absolutely beautiful, incredibly peaceful, and so quiet you could hear the calming sound of the sea hitting the rocks along the shore. The apartments are right next to the sea below with a very nice walkway and stairs to a private beach for swimming and enjoying the sea. Every morning I woke up early and sat on the porch to watch the most gorgeous sunrises! Watching the sunrise over the sea and the surrounding islands was breath-taking especially with the sound of the sea hitting the rocky beach below!
Maria and her family have created a beautiful place with flowers, fruit trees, grape vines, and all kinds of roses! It is a place where you want to just sit, be still, and enjoy! Our apartment was perfect! It was immaculate and as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside! They had everything we needed to enjoy our 5 days with them. I did not want to leave and I am already trying to figure out a way to go back to GardenSea Apartments and enjoy Patmos again!
Thank you Maria for making our stay in Patmos so wonderful! Thank you for your friendship, your hospitality, and your hard work to make the GardenSea Apartments so inviting to your guests! You and the GardenSea Apartments will hold a special place in my heart forever...a place I will never forget! It is a place I will tell all my friends about and encourage them to visit!
