Svava and her father were welcoming even as I arrived quite late to their house. The price of a bed was high that night - even for Iceland - as most places were booked. Check out is at 10 most places in Reykjavik, including here, for which I overslept (six hour time difference!). Svava kindly forgave me an hour, and for that I was grateful. The amenities you receive for the price here are comparable to other places. I'd recommend Hostel 101 as a comfortable, friendly option.

The guesthouse is so so so close to city center and everwhere in the capital, only 1 mins walk to supermarket and shopping street. I attend the tour outside capital and the bus will pick up near Alda hotel, just 2 mins walkable. The host is very warm hearted, easy communication. Just one thing remind, there is no bath towel offered, you should take it yourself.

Svava was very nice and welcoming when I showed up early in the morning, and they even already had my bed ready. They've done a wonderful job creating a community feel to the hostel. It's in a really great location, right on the main street.

It was all ok, the Location was on a great Place, you stay in the middle of the Town , but quite enough for sleep.I was alone at the small House it was great for me. All time again.

Very friendly, personal welcome! Nice little historic house. It was a pleasure to sit in the kitchen, enjoying the snow storm outside and the view to the main road in some distance over the courtyard. Some working sounds from refurbishment above, but it was no problem since I was on tour then. I would like to stay at their place again the next time I'll make a visit to Reykjavik. :)
