‘In Medias Res’, is Latin for in the middle of things, serves as an initiator to step into plural storylines. By layering references to different locations and moments in time into one space, Hoonhout tries to take the visitors on a journey to their possible pasts and futures. As the Latin expression and title of this project often get used as a relative indicator of time in story analysis, Hoonhout questions our memory of space and the role that fiction plays in our day to day lives.
