This beautiful shepherds hut is set in a private orchard on Duffields Farm, nestled into the Wye Valley and overlooking the incredible Forest of Dean. The shepherds hut has a cosy log burner & a double bed, with a view from the window that is simply stunning. There is a camping stove for outdoor cooking in our outdoor under covered kitchen in the orchard and a modern indoor shower room and toilet across the field! A double sink is provided near the shower room for washing up.

The space
The Shepherds Hut is set in an orchard which is for your use only. There is
a comfy double bed and lovely wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm. The French dresser houses a kettle, cafeteria, cutlery, cups, plates, bowls, wine glasses, tea, coffee and sugar. We also supply a small fridge for small items such as milk and butter. There is a small table and chairs which can be used inside or outside depending on the weather.

For cooking we have our lovely undercover outdoor kitchen with a small camping stove, with frying pan and saucepan. The outdoor kitchen also has a pizza oven and adjacent to the kitchen is a lovely fire pit over looking the beautiful view. ,

The hut is in the field adjacent to our large farmhouse and High in the Sky Flat which may also have Airbnb guests staying over the weekend.

Set on the Offa's Dyke Path, this is the perfect place to stay along the way. Hiking and mountain biking can be done from the door (our staff can point you in the right direction), and the glorious River Wye is just down the hill with beautiful wild swimming and canoeing. There are two pubs in easy walking distance in the village of Redbrook.

Set on a working farm, there will be lots of animals nearby, and you'll have the chickens keeping you company while you cook as well as the ducks and geese swimming on a nearby pond.
