If you are seeking a low-key or active getaway with friends and family, this charming Narrowsburg house offers both. Situated just outside the hamlet of Narrowsburg, this cliffside retreat features 8 wooded acres and a breathtaking view of the Delaware River and Pennsylvania game lands.

This house is an ideal year-round destination, nestled between the majestic Western Catskills and Pocono Mountains.

The space
Cozy up by the fire pit, witness majestic eagles soaring above the mountains, and stargaze after dinner on the second-floor deck, all while immersing yourself in the natural, scenic views that unfold before you. The serene Delaware River and Pocono Mountains stretch out before you.

The fully equipped kitchen features a refrigerator with an ice maker and filtered water, a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and blender/magic bullet. Enjoy the ping-pong table and the tranquil space in the basement (please note that the basement is not heated). Guests have access to outdoor games such as cornhole and more.

Neighbourhood highlights

Narrowsburg sits in Sullivan County and is not only a great location for viewing the Delaware River, but also for exploring by tubing, a kayak or canoe. Hiking trails are abundant in Narrowsburg and neighboring towns. You're just miles from the Livingston Manor, Calicoon, Bethel (Woodstock '69), and other great Western Catskills communities.

For winter activities check out family-friendly Big Bear mountain (only 20 minutes away) for great snow tubing, skiing or snowboarding. On hot summer days head down to Skinner’s Falls (15 min) a 5 mile drive for tubing or a dip in the River, followed by a picnic on the rocks along the river’s edge. Rent gear from Lander’s River Trips to make a day long trip out of it. It’s a great spot for canoeing and kayaking with its waves up to 2 feet and Class II rapids. Lander’s River Trips has been servicing the Delaware River since 1955. They are experts in floating down the Delaware and their excursions make a fun outing for groups and families.

Check out all the shops on Narrowsburg’s Main Street, especially Sunny’s Pop, Aaron’s One Grand (acclaimed bookstore), Narrowsburg Proper (gourmet delicacies) and beautiful clothes at Mayer Wasner. Restaurants include infamous farm to table hotspot The Heron, enjoy gourmet pizza at Laundrette, or quick breakfast/coffee at Tusten Cup. For groceries, there’s Pete’s market only a short 10 minute drive from our house.
