Accomodations: this can be a pro or con depending on who you are. This house is obviously frequently lived in by the owners. The pro's to this are there are spices handy if you need them and well stocked kitchen supplies. The cons are the furniture is obviously well-loved. The pros to this are you don't need to worry about extra wear and tear! The bedding was clean and plentiful. Note while the owner does not allow dogs there are many signs pets regularly frequent this house. If pet allergies are a concern you may want to discuss this with the owner first.
Overall impression: Very comfortable place, easy to use thermostats and stoves. Definitely great for multiple families as there are a lot of spaces to either have privacy or gather together. Good value. During our stay there were signs of lime/rust buildup on the master tub and central toilet that made them appear a bit dingy, so if you are sensitive to this you may want to know it going in.
Neighborhood: in a secluded mountain community with lots of space in between houses. What I like about this particular house is you really can't see anyone from the back deck / hot tub area. It is nice to feel that secluded. A con, like any mountain area, is some of the neighbors have dogs that roam off leash. When walking around the neighborhood for exercise we were intimidated by one of them.
