Located in the popular village of Portesham, the cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the delights of Dorset including Chesil Beach, Abbotsbury and the nearby county town of Dorchester. Hardy's Monument with its fantastic panoramic views and great walks is a only a short walk from the cottage as is the nearby Valley of Stones.

On the ground floor there is a well-appointed sitting room, kitchen and dining room, conservatory and a cloakroom.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a king-sized double, and a twin bedroom looking out over the rear garden, and a family bathroom with shower.

The open garden slopes up the hill and the garden terrace affords wonderful views of the surrounding fields and rolling Dorset hills.

There are excellent walks and cycle paths from the door of the cottage, and the South Dorset Ridgeway Path runs across the ridge a mile above the cottage.
