The Colorado Lodge, Barn, fire pit, and picnic area is the perfect location for your whole family to spend a few days or week together. Your family will create many lasting memories as you have your rehearsal dinner in the barn, your intimate wedding in the large backyard, or your family meals and post-nuptial brunch on the picnic tables on the covered wraparound porch. Later, you can gather around the fire pit to roast s'mores before retiring to the 7 bedrooms (6 have en-suite bathrooms).
The space
Our prices include the use of the entire facility for up to 14 people overnite. Gatherings up to 50 people total onsite is an additional $1200 for the first gathering and $600 for additional gatherings over 15.
The main home features a large gourmet kitchen/great room where everyone can gather to cook, eat meals and socialize in a common area. Just off the kitchen is a large living room with 2 sofas and a love seat surrounding a gas fireplace. The living room has a large 4K TV for watching sports, movies or just visiting and catching up. The wraparound log porch has more seating, BBQ and Smoker Grills, and a 24' long wood picnic table for outdoor meals. There is also a large hot tub which can seat 6-8. There are 15 rustic wood picnic tables available for outdoor gatherings on the property with an outdoor gas fire pit for evening ambiance and roasting s'mores. (Only available when there is no fire restriction/ban and MUST be attended at ALL times when burning.)
Master Bedroom #1 has a king sized bed plus a full sized futon, TV and it's large en-suite private bathroom includes a 2 person jetted tub, TV, dual vanities, and separate 2 headed shower. This bathroom works well for brides or grooms getting ready for their wedding day at any of the 6 wedding/reception venues located within 2 miles of the home.
Master Bedroom #2 has a king bed, full sized futon and space for a pack n play. It's en-suite private bathroom features a double vanity and triple headed shower with seat.
Master Bedroom #3 has a queen sized log bed plus a futon. It has a private full bath with dual vanity just outside the door.
Master ADA Bedroom #4 is on the main floor with Queen bed. It has it's own ADA bathroom with roll-in shower. No stairs, wide doorway, easy access to the front entrance and driveway.
Bedroom #5 is on the main floor and has a rustic queen sized bed, TV and a full bathroom with roll-in shower next to it. No stairs, wide door, easy access to the full bath and common areas.
Bedroom #6 is a studio apartment on the main floor with a King Bed, private bath and French doors leading to the outside for a private entrance if wanted. It has a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. No stairs, wide doors, and the shower has a seat and only a 4" curb to get in. Great for family members with limited mobility.
Bedroom #7 is the entire basement and has 2 king beds, hideabed couch, tv, game table and a 3/4 bath with a shower. Great for the younger ones.
The wood floor rustic barn is available as an option for gatherings up to 50 people. Includes use of a portable 60's vintage bar, freestanding popcorn machine, rustic untuned antique piano, a vintage am radio and modern speaker to play music from your phone or make rehearsal dinner speeches. Perfect for rehearsal dinners, parties, graduations, meetings, dances, or group meals indoors. (Extra $1200 event fee for over 15 up to 50 total guests). Contact us for more details.
There are 15 picnic tables are available for picnics on the grounds or can be brought inside the barn to supplement the bench seating around the barn perimeter.
We have 2 horseshoe pits and 2 cornhole games and 4 hole frisbee golf and Axe Throwing along with plenty of space to play catch or just sit outside and watch the deer and elk graze by among the Ponderosa Pines. If your family wants to spend a few days or a week bonding and getting to know one another again while making new memories, this is an ideal place to do it.

Located just above Denver/Golden in the first row of foothills West of Golden and nearest to the historic western town of Golden. One mile off of I-70, it offers a fantastic base for all of the Denver Metro Area and the surrounding mountains. The ski resorts are as short as a 40 minute drive! It’s 20 minutes to downtown Denver and 10 minutes to downtown Golden. Denver International Airport or Boulder are about a 40 minute drive.

BBQ Grill, 7 sleeping rooms 7.5 bathrooms, Huge Kitchen/Great Room. There are 15 picnic tables, fire pit, cornhole, horseshoes, hot tub, and rustic barn for booked overnite guests. Up to 50 total people onsite can be accommodated for an additional $1200 fee (10AM-10PM). A second gathering up to 50 people total onsite is $600/day 10Am-10PM. Large gourmet kitchen that is stocked with everything you may need besides food and drink. It seats 4 people at the kitchen counter with a 12 person dining table adjacent for families to cook at home vs going out to restaurants.

The Colorado Lodge on Lookout Mountain home features a large fully equipped gourmet kitchen/great room where everyone can gather to cook, eat meals and socialize in a common area. Just off the kitchen is a large living room with easy chairs and couches surrounding a cozy gas fireplace and a large 4K TV for watching sports/movies/Netflix, or just visiting and catching up. The wraparound log porch has more seating, 2 BBQ/smoker grills, and a 24' long wood picnic table for outdoor meals. The log porch also has a large hot tub which can seat 6-8. There are 15 picnic tables (5 - 120" X 29"..... 11 - 96" X 29") available for outdoor gatherings (up to 50 people) on the property and an outdoor a gas fire pit for gathering around at night and roasting s'mores. The ability to bring in your own food and beverages makes for a big cost saving. Having the lodging and events at one place makes logistics so much easier and more relaxing. Having time to hang out with your friends and family in a casual atmosphere creates strong bonds and lasting memories. Cornhole, Disc Golf, horseshoes, tetherball, badminton, croquet, etc. while cooking, smoking and barbecuing meals makes for a really nice family gathering.
RUSTIC BARN
Our rustic historic barn measuring 30' X 30" is available for gatherings, dances, or meals with up to 50 people. (18-40 people is an additional charge of $1200). It has two ceiling fans and windows to help with air flow in the summer and radiant floor heating to help take the chill off cooler evenings or in the winter months. Beautiful sparkling white lights surround the ceiling in the barn and the outside park setting for evening ambiance. Also included: the use of a portable 60's vintage bar, upright rustic (but untuned) piano and modern speaker to play music from your phone, mason jars with white 3 florals (Hydregena, Roses and Azaelas), floral swags, several wedding accessories. We also include a popcorn machine, ice cream machine, pellet smoker and BBQ smoker-grill plus s'mores roasting forks, adirondack chairs and cozy lap blankets to use around the fire pit. Perfect for rehearsal dinners, post nuptial brunch, small weddings/receptions picnics, family reunions, graduations, meetings, dancing, or group meals. It's a great place to set up food and drinks for a buffet or BBQ and you can rearrange or remove the picnic tables as you want for dancing on the original rustic wood floor. Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm for the outside activities since the home is in a residential neighborhood. We don’t want to keep our neighbors up with bright lights or music. We ask that no open flames be in the barn because of the fire danger. We provide electric chafing dish warmers and battery operated candles which work beautifully in the barn and keep us fire safe.
