We rented the cabin for a few days for a girls bachlorette party, and it was better than expected! Several of the girls were so impressed they want to rent it again! Everything was easy to find, and they had so many household provisions we hardly needed to bring anything! It was in a great location for swimming at the reservoir, which was one of the reasons we chose it. There was even more than enough room for the 5 girls that stayed the night without having to break out the air mattresses. The only thing that took getting used to was the toilet - there's no running water so you have to use bags. With 5 girls we found we had to change it - a lot. But even that couldn't detract from the experience!

I think this place would be great in the summer time. It is right next the lake which is beautiful, and the area around the cabin is very nice. However, we went during winter, snow everywhere, and we're pretty cold. Making a fire in the stove is different from having a fire at a campsite. Just know in advance that it could take over an hour to heat the house. I Everything else is as expected in the listing. Had a good time playing pool and the movie options are great. I think there was over 50 dvd options to choose from.

A very cozy, lovely place to spend a few days. The hosts had the driveway cleared of snow and the wood stove burning brightly for our arrival. The cabin itself is kept at a perfectly comfortable between the stove and the electric heaters which, for January, makes all the difference. The area seems to be all about snowmobiling in the winter so if that's what you're interested in, this would be a great place for it.

Great cabin, we were a group of fly fisherman(and one woman) we had a great experience and got to enjoy the backwoods of redfield and Pulaski. Great for people who love the outdoors and don't mind living off less. Bathroom was super cool never seen anything like it. Loved the entire feel of the place and darts and pool table was the perfect touch. We had a lot of fun!

Our stay was just fine. The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. It was freezing when we got there the first night and the wood stove really heated the place up fast . They have a great DVD selection and tv. The host also left us a nice little gift basket which was very thoughtful.

The forest setting was wonderful and quiet, even though there's a road not fifty feet away. The cabin was very homey and clean and perfect for a weekend getaway. The lack of plumbing took some getting used to but overall, a very enjoyable experience for two nights.
