You will be staying in a stunning, recently renovated, 240 meter2 (2,400 square foot) contemporary triplex townhouse in one of the best locations - the Old City in Chiang Mai. The renovation is in minimalist industrial style with exposed brickwork and polished cement walls, including luxury features such as hardwood floors, extensive wood furniture, terrazzo bathtub, steam room, loft bedroom, outdoor shower, full modern kitchen, sunny balconies - and much more. Airport pick up included!

The space
You will have the entire 3 floor townhouse to yourself - over 240 meter2 (2,400 square foot) . All rooms have individual AC, WiFi, Bose speakers. There are 2 TVs equipped with Apple TV . All bathrooms have hot water. We provide all towels, 300 thread count cotton bed linens, down duvet bed covers, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, umbrellas. Floor 1 now has a 2 seater steam room and floor 3 has an outdoor shower, loft bedroom and bathtub. When you see the townhouse you will understand our policy of "No Shoes ". Please help to keep our wood floors beautiful and the townhouse clean - Thank You!!


NEW!!! - we have partnered with a local art collector who has more than 600 paintings by mostly local Thai artists. He has kindly allowed us to display a selection of these paintings in the townhouse for your enjoyment. Over time we will regularly be rotating those paintings on display. Information on each painting will be available. If you like what you see let us know

The rooms are distributed as follows.

Floor 3
Bedroom 1 - 1 queen bed , 1 king bed in the loft, ensuite bathroom with an outdoor shower, working desk. Bose bluetooth speaker and wifi . The outdoor shower, with privacy, is a truly unique feature for urban accommodation

Bedroom 2 - 1 queen bed with an ensuite bathroom, stand alone bathtub, and working desk. Bose bluetooth speaker and wifi. The bright and airy bathroom/shower benefits from a full length window allowing ample sunlight. The bathroom glass walls have switchable LED lights which allows for either full privacy or maximum light

Floor 2
Full modern kitchen, including dishwashing machine, oven, nespresso coffee machine, rice cooker - with a large island table that can easily accommodate 8 people. We also have a washing machine available for use. Living room with TV and Apple TV, Bose bluetooth speaker and wifi. In front there is a large balcony with a glass roof for maximum light exposure. This balcony is large enough to string up the large hammock I have available for guest use. There is also a ½ bathroom on this floor.

Floor 1
With a separate entrance for maximum privacy, but easily accessible to floor 2 and 3, this floor is outfitted with a luxurious and comfortable king bed. There is also a concealed ½ kitchen with a microwave, fridge, toaster and nespresso coffee machine. There is a TV with Apple TV, a Bose speaker and WiFi. Separated from the bedroom by large sliding glass doors is the spa zone - a fully enclosed glass atrium with a 2 seat steam room , large terrazzo bathtub and shower. Also in this zone is a Toto fully automated Japanese toilet - is there any other way!!

There is also covered parking for 1 car - or numerous motorbikes/bicycles

Other things to note
Recent COVID-19 outbreak - you will no doubt have heard about the coronavirus COVID-19. Please rest assured that we take the cleaning of our Airbnb unit very seriously. Our 3 cleaning staff are employed directly by me and trained directly by me - quality control!! Together they have a combined 22 years experience with me - therefore the cleaning quality does not suffer from staff turnover or poor training. My staff also clean my own personal house and we are quite exacting about cleanliness from top to bottom - including light switches, door handles, remotes, etc... any surfaces that can be touched are thoroughly cleaned with alcohol based cleaners. Our accommodation is designed for easy cleaning - no carpets! Only wood floors or tile/granite floors with minimal clutter. Our AC units are cleaned every year. In summary you will find an impeccably clean space when you check in !!

If I am not available to greet you upon I will send you a number code for the door so that you can check in yourself. I will try me best to see you the following days during your stay.
Here are some tips and suggestions to help you have an enjoyable stay.

Sightseeing and tours - We have an agreement with Khun Nong of Eden Hostel (right next to Townhouse!) to provide our Townhouse guests with tourist services - recommendations for tours, cooking schools, elephant parks, massage/spa, restaurants, bars, etc…. Please feel free to drop by and see Nong.

My Google Maps - I have a personalized Google Map with comments about various restaurants, cafes and bars mostly inside the Old city - if you are interested I can send you a link . Just send me your email address after check in.

Check in and Check out - our check in and check out times are flexible depending on other guests staying before and after you. If there are other guests check out is 10:00am and check in is 2:00pm. If required you can store your luggage free of charge with Eden Hostel next to the Townhouse

Late check in - if you are arriving after 6pm we will send you the door code and a short video of how to open the door - its very simple and you can self check in.

You can check out yourself - just make sure all lights and AC are turned off and just close the door on your way out!

QR Codes - most machines (air purifier, washing machine, etc..) have a QR code on them - just scan with your phone camera and this will link you to a video explaining how to use.

Smoking - is not allowed inside the townhouse , but is allowed on the outdoor balconies.

The hammock is in one of the kitchen drawers Floor 2 - feel free to hang it up. It is all weather so a little rain will not damage it.

Palm Tree on Floor 2 balcony - please if you can water with this plant if the soil looks dry on top - 2 liters is enough

Garbage - there is a garbage can on the road outside the parking area - it has “3/22” on it. Please use when needed. Garbage collection is every Wednesday and Sunday

Lights in garage area - there are 2 sets of lights that will automatically come on at night time. These are internet controlled - there is no light switch.

For stays of 6 nights or longer we will change the towels and sheets after the 3rd night.

Floor 2 Air Purifier - after you turn on you will see a PM2.5 reading. When this number reaches 25 or below the air should be ok.

Drinking water - the water in glass bottles in the fridge has been purified by us (we drink this too!) using standard filters PLUS an Ultrafine filter and UV light. We hope this will cut down on plastic bottle use. Please do NOT refill direct from the tap - place the empty bottles in the carrier. Thank you.

The townhouse is located virtually in the center of the Old City of Chiang Mai - within 2 minutes walking distance to Wat Phra Singh and The Sunday Walking Street Market, and no more than 15 minutes walk to many of the other attractions in the Old City - restaurants, bars, cafes, museums, shops Although in a central location we are located on a quiet side street (Soi) that avoids most of the major street noise. Double windows throughout helps cut down the noise too!

During your stay
I will greet you upon arrival at the townhouse (airport pick up included in the price!) to show you around the townhouse and answer any questions you may have. I will also make available a private tour manager nearby who can arrange tours, activites, recommend restaurants, jazz club.....etc.. during your stay I will be available by phone , or if it's something that needs personal attention i can drop by the townhouse as I live only 10km away.

Normally check in will be 2pm, check out 11am. However we can be more accommodating depending on guests before and after your visit. Check with us closer to your arrival. We also have luggage storage available nearby at no charge
