Delightful cosy and romantic cottage with wonderful mature terraced garden and stunning views of the Firth of Clyde. PET FRIENDLY Applecross was the former village General Store and is in the centre of the village with only a 2 minute walk to the Corrie Hotel and pub and Mara Fish Bar. Good sized living/dining area for 6 with wood burner. Fully equipped kitchen with double oven, fridge/freezer, microwave. Utility and WC. Stairs up to landing with 2 bedrooms and bathroom with good power shower.

The space
The whole cottage and garden are entirely available for you.

The garden, to the rear of the property, is on a slope and terraced but don’t let that put you off, the garden is something exceptional. Steps lead to a gravel and decked area where there is a greenhouse and feature red sandstone walls making a raised bed filled with a profusion of colourful plants and foliage. Further up there are timber trellises and fencing and gravel steps giving spectacular sea views and leading to patio and lawn areas where there is a summerhouse. All along are mature trees, shrubs and bushes. Further up again you come to a ‘Secret Garden’ with a lily pond with ornamental fish and a gazebo. At the top you are met by uninterrupted views of the Firth of Clyde and beyond from the Kyles of Bute to the Ayrshire coast. It cannot be stressed enough the sheer delight that this garden brings, it is full of mature trees, shrubs, bushes, flowering plants, flora and foliage as well as twisting paths and gravel steps leading from one delight to the next.

Guest access
Guests have access to all of the property and garden.

Other things to note
The cottage does not currently have central heating. The wood burner in the living room heats the cottage and an immersion the hot water. There are extra radiators but the cottage is never cold and it is cosy at all times.

Corrie is a village on the north east coast of the Isle of Arran in Scotland, 6 miles north of Brodick. It lies 2 miles due east under the island's highest mountain, Goat Fell. A path from High Corrie ³⁄₄ mile to the south, provides access to the hillside. Corrie, and its northern neighbour, Sannox, lie approximately halfway between Brodick and Lochranza. The Isle of Arran is 55 minutes by ferry from Ardrossan and 50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. The village is one of the last remaining true villages on the Isle of Arran and has a very cosy village atmosphere.
