Hello and welcome to my lovely new air B&B Here’s a little about me.. I’m a local girl and have lived within Berkshire and the surrounding areas for most of my life, I can give you lots of advice on my local knowledge. I am very free spirited and a little bohemian at times, I love going to Festivals, live music is my passion. I’m a bit of a want to be interior designer, I love old vintage finds and restoration and You’ll see snippets of this throughout the Farmhouse. I have been working on my lovely old Farmhouse for over 7 years now, it’s been a labour of love, but I’m very excited to share it and welcome lots of lovely guests from all backgrounds and destinations. I enjoy meeting new people very much and sharing the love of my home and the beauty of our surrounding villages. Yoga and meditation are my passion, I enjoy running and getting outside as much as possible (I’m booked on the next Reading half Marathon) yikes.. my 3rd. I’m a very keen traveler myself and travel as much as my time allows, I have been to India many times for my Yoga, and I am truly In awe of the beauty and culture that this wonderful country has to offer. My children are a huge part of my life and although mostly grown up are never far away, and we get to spend lots of quality time together.. I’m a keen cook, and love trying new things.. You may even get to enjoy some tasty homemade treats!! My next venture in the new year will be a beautiful self contained Annex as well as the most charming Shepherds hut (complete with its own garden and chickens).. My mantra to myself: I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I have certainly ended up where I want to be... I think hosting guests in my beautiful home is definitely where I want to be right now.. Thank you for taking the time to find out a little about me and I look forward to hosting you at Townsend Farm.

During your stay
I am more than happy to interact with guests as much as you would like, I’m mostly on hand to help with questions and offer suggestions.

However I respect some guests come away for peace and quiet so I’m mindful of this too.
