Guest access

We are a working vineyard. The position of the cottage is quiet and secluded though. We will make every effort to make your stay quiet, relaxing and enjoyable and we will never use chemicals while we have guests! We are environmentally conscious and use chemicals as sparingly as possible before eventually going organic. Guests are welcome to wonder through the vineyard that the property is immediately on but please do not go onto the other side where there is a dam and the main vineyard especially if you have children. No amenities are shared.

Lovely relaxed place to stay. The view was stunning. Nice and close to places to visit but still far enough away to be quiet.

Place was great! Clean, good views, friendly hosts. Good location to come home to after a day trip and relax with some wine, a bath and a nice fire.

Pinot cottage is right up there with the best cottages we have stayed in. Every modern amenity was available which made our stay very comfortable. The location is ideal being close to Richmond, Hobart, the airport etc but at the same time having a rural outlook. Louise was very efficient and helpful with communications which made our stay easy to organise. This accommodation is highly recommended for others thinking of holidaying in southern Tasmania. Pinot Cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable with amazing views of the vines and rolling hills. It was so quiet and peaceful yet only a short drive from Hobart and all it has to offer. Louise was welcoming and helpful with our booking and obliging in providing a cot and highchair for our baby which was a great help. The bed was comfy and curling up in front of the wood fire was delightful. The wine was also delicious and well worth the splurge. We'd definitely recommend the place and would love to stay again next time we're in town.

The place was spectacular. It was close to Hobart but far enough that we were able to enjoy the quiet and the views. Will definitely stay there again! We all loved it.

My kids and I had a great stay in Pinot Cottage. The space is huge, and the reverse A/C and wood combustion fireplace warmed us up very quickly in the cold Winter weather. Directions were clear and the 'Charles Reuben' sign was easy to spot in daylight. A lovely part of Tassie, and we hope to be back.
