This spacious loft apartment sits upstairs in a converted barn, above the indoor swimming pool. It has a large open plan lounge/diner/kitchen and 3 bedrooms. It's fully self contained.

It has an interconnecting door at the bottom of the stairs taking you into the shared warm water (34 degree) swimming pool.

The space
Its a clean, airy and bright, loft appartment. It has characterful sloping ceilings. It's set inside Darp Farm, next door to the main house which is occupied by the owners.

The pool is shared with us, and also rented to a baby swimming school on some week days. If you are using it, my family will wait until you are done before we come in. When others are using it, it is out of bounds to you. Note that CCTV is in the pool area for insurance reasons.

The pool is closed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for the swimming lessons between approximately 1-7pm. During this time we ask you not to enter the pool room. My own family often use the pool for an hour here and there as well, but we'll try to avoid the times you are in there.

It's a beautiful, peaceful, rural location. We're just 5 minutes from the charming historical village dating back to before 1066. There is a local village shop and not much else!

During your stay

You are in a completely private apartment. We are mostly around in the main house during your stay. We'll be friendly, but we'll leave you in total privacy if you wish - up to you. It's all self service, so many guests don't even see us!
