Charming old traditional flint cottage, for 2 adults, no children,tucked away in Cromer's conservation area. 5 min walk from train station, seafront, sandy beach and pier.Upstairs: a double bedroom, shower room/toilet. Downstairs, in the living room: double futon provides seating; electric storage heaters in all rooms. There’s a small sunny garden. In the kitchen full size electric cooker,microwave, fridge/freezer; washing machine in shed. Wi-fi and smart TV. Not available for quarantine.

The space
Cromer is a vibrant small town, with fun things to do for all ages! Beautiful beaches at low tide with swimming lifeguards. Banksy painted a piece of art on the beach wall here in August 2021, so we even have famous contemporary art on permanent display! This summer it’s back to normal pre-Covid times! There are well stocked supermarkets, and small indie food and gift shops as well.
There are some excellent cafes,restaurants, pubs, interesting shops, open with social distancing measures in place. There are 2 fresh fish shops selling the famous Cromer crab.The golf course is open. The North Norfolk coast is stunning and offers clifftop walks; sea bathing bird watching, and seal colonies.

Lively Cromer has much to offer! See Guidebook section for more details. There is, as always, safe swimming and beautiful coastal scenery! We love the Rocket House cafe with its terrace overlooking the sea. We love the pier and coastal path walk to Overstrand and walks along Weavers Way. Peaceful nature reserves, seal watching trips, and bird sanctuaries also nearby. Small independent food shops are very Covid safety conscious and Morrisons supermarket similarly

I’m a grandmother living in London and Edinburgh, married and still working part time. I like walking and drawing and painting, so Norfolk is a wonderful place for those activities! It’s stunningly beautiful for artistic endeavours and has great walks! Holidays here have been an important part of life for myself and m husband as our professional life is stressful- we’re both psychotherapists. When you guests use the cottage and enjoy it we feel very happy that our little place has been shared and appreciated!
