Very nice stay. AMAZING location directly in the vineyards. STUNNING VIEW on the mountains. Few minutes by cars from the best wineries in Argentina. Ignacio was always answering our questions quickly. Just make sure you have wood for the fireplace.

This house is a gem - tucked away in the middle of a vineyard with STUNNING views of the mountains and a lovely lake beside the house. Wonderful relaxed vibe and a great base for exploring the region. Strongly recommend heading deep into the mountains up route 94 above Menzano Historico for a hike. If you don't have a GPS the house is not very easy to find - ask for directions! Thank you again Ignacio. We hope to come back one day.

Beautiful setting and view in the midst of vineyards with the majestic Andes on the background. The house has also a nice garden with a large outside BBQ and pizza oven. The house is a bit remote. To go to the nearest town is about at least 30 min trip, first a part over dirt roads and then 20 km over an asphalts road. However good base to visit vineyards such as the Salentein.

Ignacio has been a wonderful host, frequently checking up on making sure things were alright, and that was actually the case. The place is incredible, the mountains are the very first thing you see when you wake up in the morning and also the last thing before bed at night because of the way the moonlight illuminates the Andes. The place is pretty much isolated so you get absolute peace, grapes and mountains everywhere. That said the house is not far away from route 89, that gave us quick access to all the attractions in the area and towns nearby. The house is extremely comfortable and functional, we were 4 grown ups and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. There’s a laundry washer in the house, not a minor thing if you’re touring with kids like we did. There’s a grill outside and a large mud oven so we really enjoyed cooking outside with family while looking at the Andes, there are tables and comfortable outdoor sofas to relax and enjoy the view. I definitely will visit Ignacio's place again next time I have a chance, and I totally recommend it to anyone considering visiting Mendoza.

Ignacio's 4BR 2BA country house is situated pretty deep in the country surrounded by grape vines with a stunning view of the Andes mountains. The house actually sits on a plot of land owned by Tapiz winery. There is no AC in the house, but at night it did get quite cool and even chilly one night with the windows open. There are many sounds at night coming from the frogs living in and around the pond next to the house, so if you're a light sleeper keep that in mind. The positives: you're deep in UCO Valley without cell phone coverage, WiFi, or cable. The views are spectacular. The ceiling fan in the main living room works great. Hot water works great. Sunrise in the morning is superb. You are about a 1 mile walk from Posada Salentein which is the hotel of Salentein winery and they have a kitchen open for dinner where you can bring in outside bottles of wine for free. Though make a reservation in advance. The negatives: The location could be quite difficult to find if you are not familiar wity the area - there is no address. The back bedroom smelled funny even after we aired it out for a few days. Beds weren't super comfortable but they were passable. You need a car or driver to get around the area because the location is quite remote. The noise of the frogs are quite loud at night if you're not used to that. No phone coverage so do all your bodega bookings before arriving. Overall: this was easily one of the highlights of our 2 week family vacation through Arg and Uruguay. Malbec wines from this region are legendary and Ignacio's place is a very good place from which to explore one of the most premium wine regions in the world. Gracias Ignacio!

Breathtaking views, incredible setting, even more gorgeous than in the photos. For those looking to stay "in the middle of the vineyard" and get a truly authentic feel for Mendoza wine country, this is your chance. Beautiful, rustic, "country chic" house equipped with everything our large group needed, including an amazing fireplace, large outdoor brick bbq grill, and so on. We had great walks around the vineyard, dazed at the bright stars in the night, enjoyed incredible sunrises over the pond, the sunset on the Andes, and toured wine country by day. HIGHLY recommend. Don't miss this one of a kind experience!
