Located just two miles inland, this unique let is set on a private and quiet estate, it blends cosy with curiosities and furnishings straight from the frontier. Perfect for couples and honeymooners, we have all you need for a memorable stay - including a hot tub on your own private porch, open-fire and fully equipped kitchen. a must do for a refresh and de-stress.

The space
Hide away in this self-contained shack and feel immediately restful in the rustic and atmospheric interior. This bolthole was purpose-built by the owners and is a faithful recreation of a shack from the Old West - with a Cornish twist! Everywhere you look, there are curiosities and carefully curated peices: from ethically sourced taxidermy to one-off art pieces. There is a Smart TV and Wi-Fi so you can keep up with what’s going on in the real world while you’re hiding out like Bonnie and Clyde in your secluded getaway.

This unique homestay is a little slice of heaven that offers an experience like no other. Spend lazy afternoons lounging in rocking chairs on the private porch or relaxing in the hot tub or hammock. As the day draws to a close, curl up on the sofa and enjoy the fireplace. Unwind in the shower or roll-top bath, with fresh towels and luxury Duck Island toiletries. Then finally, retire to the quaint and cosy bedroom, equipped with ceiling fan and French doors that open onto the porch.

The property is not suitable for children, wheelchair users or for guests with severe health conditions or mobility impairements. We advise guests, with any visual and audible impairements, wishing to stay in this holiday let, to have a fully able bodied person with you in case of emergency evacuation.

Our little piece of paradise is set in the secluded rolling hills of the Cornish countryside just two miles inland. We are an adult only quiet retreat. Come here for peace and silence! Sheltered by two-hundred-year-old oak trees, our corner of Cornwall is abundant with wildlife and breath-taking views of surrounding pastures – and on clear days you can even look down the lush green valley and out onto the glistening Atlantic ocean.

Close to the coastal town of Bude – an hour’s walk down a beautiful canal for those looking to stretch their legs - this is a perfect base for a genuine Cornish experience. You’ll be spoilt for choice with places to wine and dine; from bistros and fine dining to micro-pubs and bars.

Experienced surf-lovers or beginner water-babies will love staying here as Widemouth Bay and a multitude of other sandy beaches are just a few miles away. There’s so much to explore with National Trust wonders and English Heritage marvels like Rocky Valley and Tintagel Castle littering the coastline just a stones-throw away.
