The Space

Lose oneself in the atmosphere of the eternal city, and enjoy the privilege of its peace and beauty.
Roman Suite is a newly refurbished studio on the fourth floor(with elevator) of an elegant palazzo dating from the beginning of the ‘900.

Steps away from caffès, trattorie (tipical Italian cousine), restaurants and bars, help to make your evenings enjoyable and memorable.

The studio (30mq) is independent and furnished with care, and has a sitting room with a sofa bed (queen size), double bedroom, en suite bathroom with shower, and small cooking area well equipped and stocked with the necessary goods for breakfast, and where, at the end of a busy day, you can relax and prepare a romantic meal or a light snack.

The suite has air conditioning, tv LCD satellite decoder and free WI-FI internet access.

We can advise you on the choice of restaurants, or where to have an aperitif, book museum tickets and help out in any of your needs.

Roman Suite is in a very central position, a short walk from St Peter’s Square (7 minutes), and the Vatican Museums (5 minutes), perfectly located to public transport (the bus terminal at Piazza Risorgimento, the Metro Line A is a 4 minute walk away) connects you to most of the artistic and historic attractions, Castel Sant’Angelo, the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, which are all within easy walking distance.

In the neighbourhood you can also find numerous shops to meet your needs: bank, pharmacy, bars and restaurants

  • The Roman Suite is like a large hotelroom/suite, just without any of the other guests.Roman Suite is a better option than any hotel we could had found. Emmas service and help was more and better than we ever imagined. The room was cleaned every day, coffee and food fresh every morning, and Emma texted or mailed us every day to be sure everything was ok. She found us wonderful restaurants, made bookings, called cabs, just more personal and a lot better than any hotel. The Roman Suite and Emma made our Roma stay perfect.

  • Our stay in the Roman Suite was amazing. The apartment is greatly located just behing San Pietro square in a really quiet street not harassed by crazy tourists. The metro station is nearby so I would say that everything went perfect. Emma is a great host and she suggested some places where to eat or to have aperitivo. I highly recommend to stay here!

  • We had a lovely stay in Roman Suite - a great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. The apartment itself is really pretty -stylishly decorated, clean and well-maintained, and stocked thoughtfully with everything you need for a more than comfortable stay.

The kitchenette is tiny (a very cleverly stowed away hob, sink and fridge freezer), but equipped with everything you need should you wish to eat in (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, crockery etc - which you can't see in the photos, but it's all there, don't worry) , which we did on one night - nice to have the option to be able to cook. Emma also left us breakfast for every day - coffee, croissants - which was much appreciated.

Emma was a great, efficient host. Before we arrived, she made contact over email and text, which is always reassuring. And when we arrived, she met us at the flat, left us maps, gave us pointers on where to eat. She also arranged an airport drop off for us for 5am in the morning (cheaper than what the taxis would normally charge and reassuring to know we didn't have to go out to find a taxi at that time in the morning).

Location wise, staying around the Vatican especially around Emma's road is much nicer than staying around Ancient Rome/Spanish Steps - it's far quieter in the evenings. Very pleasant to return to after long days exploring.

For those that need it, wifi worked pretty well in the apartment - my only little suggestion would be to add in a DVD player to chill out with a movie in the evenings!

If I'm ever in Rome again, I'd definitely rebook Emma's place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Many thanks for such a pleasant short stay.
