The space is almost 1000 sq/ft, with 2 large bedrooms and an 'office' that could double as a third private (small) bedroom! The ceilings are high, the ambience is bright, airy, peaceful, green, and it's located on a very quiet street (not a thoroughfare;) one block from High Park, and one block from the coolest street in Toronto, Roncesvalles! :-) There is a huge south-facing sunny backyard with BBQ/garden/patio/lounger. The bathroom is a large 4-piece with natural light and fresh air through a big window. There are hardwood floors throughout the house, big windows in every room, and a classic knotty-pine floor in the kitchen equipped with everything (including a stainless steel dishwasher :-). 4 big closets means ample storage space.

When I bought my home 15 years ago, all I cared about were the three usual things: Location, location, and location! I know that phrase is hackneyed, but truly, the 'Walkscore' rating for houses on this street is 97 out of 100... 'a walker's paradise'! There are great little trendy/funky shops all along Roncesvalles for everything you could need, or want to eat. High Park, the biggest and most beautiful park in the city is a block to the West. If you want to visit the heart of downtown, hop on the King streetcar (at end of the block), and you'll be at Bay/Yonge Sts. in as little as 20 minutes.
King St., College St., and Dundas St. streetcar stops are within a block, and the Bloor subway line is a few blocks North, so it's a great location for the TTC to anywhere - very quickly! The airport is 18 minutes away, and the Union-Pearson Express Airport train has a stop just a few blocks North at Bloor & Dundas W.
Please do remember that this is a classic 100-year old Toronto home. All photos are verified by AirBnB, and it's renovated and updated appropriately, but if the odd creak in the floor or noise of a pipe spooks you, you might want to look at a downtown condo with all the latest modern shine instead. For many people however, the charm of the house and 'hood is what draws them here!:)
First rule: Enjoy the house as if it were your own, but please treat it the same way, and leave it the way you found it (but no need to wash sheets or towels!;). Noise levels within reason after midnight, but a dinner party or backyard BBQ with some music & wine is no problem at all! Because of the lovely wood floors, we kindly ask our guests to use slippers or soft-soled shoes while in the apartment. Non-smokers only please, and unfortunately, we can't accept pets due to allergies.

I'm from Toronto, where I work for an adventure travel company.
