The apartment is set discreetly within a 1895 National Trust listed building, tastefully upgraded and filled with quality and comfortable furniture. With its own private access, large north facing windows facing the private garden, the thick natural limestone walls create a tranquil and relaxing environment. You are on the doorstep of one of Fremantle’s most charming shopping and cafe streets, Wray Avenue and a 10 minute walk to Fremantle’s CBD with its many shops and restaurants.

The space
This lovely heritage listed apartment comes with a well appointed kitchen and bathroom with bath. With a secluded north facing courtyard garden, the thick hand cut limestone walls create a quiet, cool space amongst a busy Fremantle area. The large comfortable leather lounge with smart TV and video and free high quality wireless provides an ideal place to unwind and relax.
There is a separate laundry with washing machine/dryer.
The Master bedroom is separated by sliding screen doors into a reception area that includes a large sofa bed.

You will be staying within 1 kilometer of Fremantle’s beautiful historic walking district, the Notre Dame University, Fremantle Maritime Museum, the working docks at B Shed, and Fremantle markets.
If you head southwards on South Terrace you will find the local organic shop Manna, Ahbi’s Bakery, local graphics from Moko, cafe’s and bars. Keep on walking a bit further for the best local French pastries and bread at Wild Bakery and Little Baker. Further still is great local coffee at The Third Wheel and wonderful seafood and wine at Madalena’s just before Douro Rd, which is a 1.5 km walk or CAT bus trip. Then you’ll be a short stroll to South Beach for a dip in the Indian Ocean.
Catch the free CAT bus to the Fremantle Arts Centre, get there for free outdoor music concerts on Sunday afternoons, fantastic exhibitions and music events.
The Fremantle Prison is a World Heritage Site, book for the night time tunnel tour if you dare.
Fishing Boat Harbour has plenty of fish and chips or try Little Creatures for local brewing and a great outdoor atmosphere on the water (head out the back).
The Esplanade park has a Ferris Wheel and fantastic skatepark.
Get down to the harbour and book a day trip to Rottnest Island to meet some friendly quokkas (a local marsupial mammal). Ask at the visitors centre for the best beach for the conditions on the day, catch the bus around the island or rent a bike. There’s always a protected turquoise bay to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, fishing or sitting to enjoy the brilliant blue sky and water.
