Peace and quiet

This home is in a quiet area.
Location, location, location.

Wake up with a coffee in hand and walk the 200m to where a chair awaits you or the lovely green grass or public jetty at the end of the street. Sip on a coffee as the birds fly around, boats meander up the river.

Located in a quiet street with little traffic. Great location for skiing, canoeing, fishing.5 minute drive to Goolwa Central. Close to wineries, Murray mouth, Coorong and other country towns. Come, wine and dine in this wonderful part of South Australia.

The space
If you hire our place you need to be able to guarantee us of the following. 1) quiet time is 10pm
2) This is a family house and not a party house. No parties thank you.

Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

This airy and clean family house is set on a large block that has a fully fenced back and front yard. Perfect for larger family groups. Enjoy relaxing on the back verandah. Tea and coffee provisions provided. Plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.
The home has 3 generous sized bedrooms. Master with ensuite. Total of 10 beds. 8 for adults, 2 for kids/ early teens.
Master Bedroom - queen bed + bunks.
Bedroom 2 - double + single
Bedroom 3 - 1 x single + double bed
Also a separate toilet + bathroom.
The home has an open plan kitchen, dining, lounge with appliances. The living area has a reverse cycle wall unit. (Heating & Cooling)

Outside is a large carport as well as a large undercover entertaining area. A number of cars can be parked in the drive.

Because of Covid 19 you will need to bring all your bedding, quilts, blankets, sheets, pillow cases, towels & tea towels. Include your own personal belongings and you are set to have a wonderful time at Goolwa. (Alternatively for extra we can hire linen).
There are 2 canoes provided for guests use. You will need to provide your own life jackets.
5 Bikes and helmets at the house as well as a Table Tennis Table, games, books, table soccer and a small table billiards.

Joel -This place is nice quiet and relaxing place to stay in Goolwa. We stayed here with another family and the accommodation had plenty of room for us all to fit - the two bathrooms were handy. The deck in the backyard was great for the adults to enjoy while the kids ran around in the backyard. It was really close to the walking/bike path along the river and not too far for Goolwa central and the beach. The hosts provided great communication and hospitality. Would highly recommend.’

There are lovely drives, rides, walks around Goolwa as well as many interesting spots in this river town. Nearby is the historic own of Strathalbyn. Heading to Victor Harbour you will pass through a number small coastal towns with highlights like the Pt Elliott Bakery, which is a must to visit. There is plenty to do for those wanting to, or just simply come, relax and take in the leisurely lifestyle Goolwa offers.
