Hideaway Loft is a beautiful thatched, detached/entire property located in the small village of Laversdale, within Hadrian’s Wall Country, Cumbria. It features an enchanting garden with cottage garden style, surrounding stone walls, grottos, water and other quirky features. Willow arches protect a peaceful sitting glade beside a rill and pond, and there are various seating areas around the garden. The property has stunning views of the Lake District, the Pennines and the Scottish border hills.

Beautiful self-catering accommodation in a quiet village location - perfect if you're visiting Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District and Scottish Borders. The cottage is immaculately presented and maintained to a very high standard. It features the most wonderful, vibrant, spacious cottage garden which is part of the National Garden Scheme. Sky-Q and WiFi available. Host gives personal guidance of local "Places to visit", shop & dine if required. Guests are welcome to wander through the full extent of the private garden and use any of the seating areas.

Member of the National Garden Scheme and welcome small parties for garden tours by arrangement. The thatched cottage is 2 fields away from Hadrian's Wall Path, less than 1/2 hr to the Birdoswald Roman Fort along Hadrian's Wall, and 12 miles to The Solway Coast. 8 miles to centre of the "Border City" of Carlisle which has excellent restaurants, bars and shopping. Close to Carlisle Lake District airport, 10 miles from Gretna Green (famous for the weddings), and Gretna Gateway Outlet Village just over the Scottish Border. Only 10 - 15 minutes drive from M6 motorway as well as Superstores. It is also located only 10 minutes from the small market town of Brampton which has a variety of shops and takeaways. Renowned for lovely walks and beautiful views. Also good for cycling lovers. Local bus services to Carlisle, Brampton and Hadrian's Wall.
