Charming cottage nestled down a long drive, by the banks of the river Forth. Complete with private fishing, equestrian facilities, a river view hot tub, gym and stunning games room. A perfect luxury setting for the whole family.

The space
The property forms part of a converted coach house built in 1832. It is an ideal luxury family / child friendly retreat on the banks of the River Forth. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 in a double bedroom and a mezzanine bedroom containing twin beds (can convert to a super king). It can house a further 2 guests on a sofa bed in the living room. Key highlights are our hot tub, games room with snooker table, home cinema and gym.

Guest access
Being on the banks of the river Forth there is private fishing or for those of you who are not keen anglers, there's always the riverside hot tub to relax in after a day exploring the nearby Trossach national park.

There is a fully equipped games room for your private use, which houses a full size snooker table, gym equipment and a cinema zone complete with Xbox.

The coach house has retained it's magnificent Victorian stables, where your equine friend is welcome to stay and accompany you on your holiday. There is also a 25x40 sand riding arena and hacking available in the surrounding area.

The cottage itself has views over its own private enclosed garden with outdoor bbq facilities and dining. Our four resident chickens and our riding arena border the garden. Guests are welcome to use the surrounding grounds, taking a wander through our enchanted forest area. The fire pit is ideal for toasting marshmellows, whilst watching out for the occasional otter or deer on the banks of the river.

Stirling, United Kingdom

The region is rich in cultural heritage and is considered the gateway to the Trossoch national park. There is easy access to the highlands including popular attractions such as Loch Lomond, Gleneagles Hotel and all the wonderful walking and activities in the Callander area. We are only 2 mins away from the Ryder Cup Stirling park and ride, if you are lucky enough to have tickets. Stirling itself is a beautiful historic city with a lovely castle and is only a 10 minute drive away.

The local village of Gargunnock is only a mile away and has a fantastic local shop where you can purchase all necessities, a few luxuries and has a great wine selection. The local Gargunnock Inn is a lovely family friendly pub and restaurant, which has gained the Certificate of Excellence award 2014 from Trip Advisor, well worth a dinner visit during your stay. Only a mile on from Gargunnock is the award winning and environmentally friendly Woodhouse Coffee house, ideal for a lazy breakfast or lunch. The grown ups can plan the day out over a necessary caffeine hit, whilst the children explore the surrounding 5 acres of Scottish native woodland or paddle in the little brook nearby.
