My wife Debbie and I run a 300 strong alpaca farm in rural Northumberland. We've lived in the North East since 2006 and been farming alpacas since 2007. We are from humble backgrounds in the suburbs of Nottingham and have lived in several counties over the years. We're involved in a number of businesses and have used AirBnB for work and pleasure. For the last year we've modernised 2 of the cottages on our farm and decided to put them out there via AirBnB. The Brambles (2 bed) and East Rose (1 bed) are live and we're doing our best to delight guests and get fab reviews! We're house proud and the farmhouse and cottages combine modern living with rural charm. We privately let out one of the cottages a couple of times to make sure we were ready to provide the service and standards that we'd expect to enjoy. Feedback good and bad is very welcome! We've actioned many of the suggestions that previous guests have been good enough to let us have. We've tried to provide full and fair details of the cottages although we've also saved a few extra surprises and treats for when you arrive! Oh yes, shoes should be removed before entering a house in our view - good training as nippers we think!
