Charming third floor room with a private bath with claw-foot tub with shower. The room is decorated in period antiques and faces the back garden. It is quiet. Guests have full access to the kitchen, both front and back porches and two parlors.
Our house originally build by a coal and lumber baron at the turn of the past century. The house features stunning original woodwork and patterned hardwood floors. It is in the highly walk-able Friendship neighborhood, minutes from Shadyside, East Liberty, CMU, Pitt and the University hospitals.
Guests have access to the whole house. Join us for a glass of wine in the evening or coffee or tea in the morning.
Interaction with guests
My partner, Tony and I call this home but we love guests and meeting new people. That said, we always are respectful of ones privacy.
After working for JP Morgan for 25 years, including the last 4 years in Hong Kong, I accepted a severance package from the firm in 2009. I now live in Pittsburgh, my ancestral home with my partner of ten years, Tony Licon. Together, we own a large Victorian home in the Friendship neighborhood of the city - an ethnically and economically diverse neighborhood. I love traveling and have visited over 32 countries and have desires to visit many more. I am a passionate and proud Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holder. Interests include running, biking, reading, and politics.
