A lovely double room with its own landing and bathroom in a classic Bath stone fronted house in the elegant Cotham area of Central Bristol. The room has a comfortable superkingsize bed. We have always maintained the highest standards of cleanliness and have committed to Airbnb's Covid-19 cleaning protocol to ensure that the accommodation is as hygienic as possible.

The space

The room is on the second floor and the bed is a low one so the accommodation may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.

Guest access
Wifi is available. There is a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities are available in the room, as well as the basics for a simple breakfast - a stock of cereal, milk, juice, fruit and yogurt are provided on arrival. These can be topped up on request for guests staying more than one night. The kitchen is not part of the rental but there is a guest microwave and we can supply cutlery and plates. There are also plenty of great cafés and restaurants locally.

During your stay
The guest accommodation is quite private, on a separate floor at the top of the house. However, we are available for any queries, directions, information about the area or recommendations.

We like people who stay to feel at home and can provide most standard amenities on request, although the room does not have a television.

We have a small, friendly parson russell terrier called Daisy.

I'm Sue from Bristol and I have been hosting since September 2014. I've had a great time doing it and met some lovely people from all over the world.. My husband Nick and I both have backgrounds in law. He is a barrister and I was a solicitor and, latterly, dealt with business development for large law firms. I changed course about the time I started doing Airbnb and now run a small vegan catering business so Airbnb is a really good fit. We have two little parsons terriers, Enzo and Tiggy, and I am lucky enough to have a half share in a horse which I ride a couple of times a week.
