A luxury terraced house completely renovated and interior designed in the heart of South Kensington covering 3600 sq feet (340 sq metres) over 5 floors:

GROUND FLOOR:
Behind the charming brick facade and rose/gardenia blossoms, you will step onto natural oak floor boards sourced from the oldest Swedish floorboard manufacturers, hinting at your hosts’ no-expense-spared approach to décor.

The modern dining room seats up to 8, perfect for larger groups or families.

In the contemporary designer kitchen, you will find a breakfast table and breakfast bar on terracotta tiles. All cooking appliances are installed including a dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests need.

There is also a modern guest toilet on the G/F with a toilet and sink.

FIRST FLOOR:
Upstairs, the walls are peppered with modern art inspired by your hosts’ travels.

The terraced house benefits from ample living and entertaining space. The lateral living room has high ceilings and is arranged around an original fireplace. The balcony doors overlook onto a pretty private garden square.

The living room leads onto a large private terrace with chairs and a large table.

SECOND FLOOR:
The master bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and fitted wardrobes. The ensuite has a large bathtub, shower, sink vanity unit and a large mirror.

THIRD FLOOR:
The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have a double-bed. They share a modern toilet with a shower, toilet, and sink vanity unit.

FOURTH FLOOR:
The 4th bedroom has a double-bed with fitted wardrobes and has its own ensuite toilet complete with rain shower.

Great house and host. Lots of space and brilliant location with plenty of very nice bars and restaurants within short walking distance and easy access to the West End and other destinations via Gloucester Road tube station. The house was immaculate and appointed to a high standard. Very relaxing for a weekend away with the extended family.

We had informed Bridie about maintenance turning up to fix the coffee machine before the visit. They did not have keys to the house and knocked on the door to gain access. All guests are informed well in advance if any maintenance access is required during their stay.

This is a very spacious house in a fantastic central London location, with shops, pubs, restaurants, subway stations and all basic services within a short walking distance. Our party of 8 people (4 couples) were very comfortable sleeping there for four nights. Abigail, the hostess, was very friendly and available for coordination before and during the reservation. We very much appreciated this. The house was very clean and had basic amenities, which could have been complemented with additional basics such as hand towels and bedside reading lamps in the rooms. A few things to note: this is a FIVE STORY house (as mentioned in the description). We somehow glossed over this detail and had to carry luggage up ten steep flights of stairs to get to the top room. Although the house could be absolutely fantastic, it loses substantial points in my view just because the decor is sparse to say the least. This house has received no love and does not seem lived-in. Everything is very white and in sore need of basic touched to make it feel more homely. The kitchen and living room are very sparsely furnished and could not comfortably sit 8 people. Same thing with the outdoor patio. The dining room looks more like an office meeting room. Furthermore, the substantial number of tamper-evident red tags on doors and cabinets that were owner-only was a tad intimidating. All things considered, this is a good place to stay if you are in a group and want to have some shared space outside of a hotel. The great location and great hostess make up for the shortcomings I've mentioned.

Great location (charming small street, close to all the action), very friendly and responsive host, and some surprising delights like a roof deck and private park nearby. On the flip side, lots of light bulbs not working and kitchen not well equipped.
