In our town there are several small cafes and restaurants and in its heart is Bucknell University (approx. 5 min from us). There are antique shops a plenty and we're only 45 minutes from Penn's Creek caves amongst other wonderful outdoor activities.

The space

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!!
We own a large 1930's brick townhouse that speaks to the talent and beauty of the era. Original hard wood floors, grand staircase, high ceilings, complimented by original light fixtures and huge windows that allow our house to be filled with the most beautiful of ambient light.
The rooms available are on our third floor. One room has a queen-sized bed, while the other has a full. If you have small children we have a pack-n-play. Also, even though we have two bathrooms, there is only one bathroom inside. The other, in old school fashion, is outside on our porch. You'll have to see it to believe it.
And because we reside in a living piece of history each season gives and takes. In the winter our house is a little cooler than most and in the summer it's a little warmer than most Americans like it :) But if you're ok with the nature of this historic beast, then you'll fit right in!
We are situated in a wonderful neighborhood that allows for safe, early morning or late evening walks, and if you're up to it, right across the street is a trail. If you're in the mood for good food and socializing, it's only a two minute car ride to the center of town where you can find fabulous antiquing, vintage shops, pubs, cafes, Thai food, Sushi, burrito joint, ice cream and a couple small parks.
AND, if you're here for Bucknell, we are only five minutes away from the heart of the campus.
Come join us!

Guest access

Guests will have access to the kitchen, washer and dryer.

Interaction with guests

We LOVE interacting with our guests. It's truly one of the main reasons why I love AirBnb. The people we have met are so kind and informative, they are usually well-travelled with stories to share and we're always down for a good travel story :)

Other things to note

Please keep in mind that this is our home, it is not a hotel. To think that this booking will rival the experience of staying in a 5 star hotel will surely bring disappointment.

This place definitely went beyond my expectations. Misha and Dave were wonderful hosts and were very accommodating. If you read the description and are ok with what this house offers than you will not regret staying here. The town is wonderful, quiet, and safe and is right down the street from several town shops and restaurants. Don't hesitate to stay here. You will enjoy your time!

We felt very welcome and safe on my daughter's first trip to Bucknell. Misha's family was welcoming, gracious and made us feel very at home. This was a nice change from an impersonal hotel. Thank you!

Misha's house was perfectly located, only a 3 minute drive to Bucknell University. The room was comfortable and there was a room air conditioner which was great as the room is on the third floor. Sharing the family bathroom was not a problem at all as we were worried about that. There was never any waiting or conflicts. Misha and her husband supplied towels and some toiletries. There was also a small refrigerator with yogurt, water and juice which was really convenient. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Misha and her family are incredibly lovely. I needed a private place to get things done, and she provided just that. If I needed a guide, I'm sure she would have been glad to help. I'll definitely recommend this to anyone looking to rest their head

Misha and David'shome was open and inviting, centrally located to great restaurant and Bucknell University where the PIAA state swim meet was held. Having to share the bathroom was never a problem. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the small refrigerator filled with juice, water, and yogurt. I recommend a set of earplugs to help with the traffic noise if you are not used to being on a busy street. a great value!
