The apartment is in a great location, being a short walk to the main strip. Everything you need is fairly close. Wifi is decent but can drop off every now and again which is to be expected. Beds were comfy, would recommend!

Cecilia's apartment is great! Plus points are the good location in the centre of Tulum, just 2 blocks from the main road with all kinds of restaurants and souvenir shops. To the beach it's a 10 minutes drive more or less. The apartment is very modern and in good shape, that also counts for the bathroom and the kitchen. We stayed for 5 nights and it was nice that someone cleaned the apartment meanwhile, changed the sheets, brought new drinking water, etc. Only minus point was that we had to wait for a whole hour until we could check in. I called the day before to confirm our arrival date and I was told to pick up the key at a restaurant. The next day, the girl at the restaurant knew about nothing. I called Cecilia (luckily we had a Mexican phone number at that point) and she told me that someone would come in a couple of minutes. No one showed up in 30 minutes. I called again and she told me that she would be there in a minute. After 45 minutes still nothing. After calling her again she said someone would be there soon. After 1 hour a very friendly man came apologising that he couldn't find a taxi. That's totally fine and out of his hands but then please be honest about it. For the rest our stay was perfect and I would certainly come back here :)

If you're looking for a cheap place walking distance to downtown, this is it. It's a simple studio and they provide sheets and towels for you.

Cecilia is a very welcoming host. Her place is very stylish, presentable, and most of all clean. It's all very convenient and the neighbourhood is very pleasant as well.

The apartment was fantastic. Clean place, basic kitchen, filtered water, and air conditioning in the bedroom (was necessary!). When we arrived at El Asadero, we weren't sure what to do or how to get in touch with Cecilia. After about five minutes, Melchor came by and took us to the apartment. The bikes were a bit pricey compared to other places in town and the quality wasn't the best. They got us around, though! Overall, it was a great stay at the apartment. Exactly what we needed when we first arrived to Mexico.

Cecilia went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The apartment is very spacious and the bedroom has very powerful AC which was a real necessity. Very simple place but has everything you need for a short stay. The building is just off the main drag but quiet and safe. Would recommend!

This apartment was a good fit for our family of four. It was clean and had a good kitchen set up (fridge, stove, oven, dishes, fresh jug of drinking water, etc). We also enjoyed using the bicycles. The location was very convenient, easy to walk to what we needed and a bike path most of the way to the beach. The south end of the street has a huge park with ball fields and playground. The lady who let us in was very nice and was great about answering our questions. It was very windy/rainy one night while we were there and some of things that were placed near windows got wet (looked like some seals were inadequate) - I suspect that is already fixed as Cecilia offered to have it repaired that very day (we declined as weather improved) and she also had extra towels sent over which was nice. The listing says 'studio' but it's actually a 1-bedroom (so double bed in bedroom and one in main living area) so that was nice.
