The Buddha Room is a cosy relaxing en-suite room for you to get away from it all and chill out in a beautiful nurturing setting at The Woodland Retreat. The room has been inspired by the image of the Buddha representing our potential to awaken to peaceful states of being. The room has a lot of storage space with tea making facilities. We provide a variety of teas, cereals, long life milk (oat or diary). This room would not suit a family. Single person, couple or 2 friends sharing is suitable.

The space
The Room is located in a large woodland Swiss chalet style building at The Woodland Retreat off Kite Hill on the Isle of Wight. The retreat is located in 3 acres of ancient woodland and promotes a healthy lifestyle providing you with time to rest and recover.

The Room has its own en-suite, a large cupboard which also has a desk in it for a good working space.

We make up the double bed but if you require the single sofa bed you need to make this up yourself and the bedding is stored in the cupboard.

This house is shared with The Chakra Room and The Ganesha Room also listed on Airbnb.

You have access to the kitchen, lounge/dining room, decking area and front garden.

We sell chicken fresh organic chicken eggs if you want to bring your own breakfast material.

This would suit people who would like to know there are people around but who need a safe space to rest and rejuvenate.

Only a 10 minute walk away we have an abundance of places to eat as well as a local Tesco. We also have Quarr Abbey a Benedictine Monastery with a lovely tea room, art gallery and somewhere you can feed the pigs. The sea is also only a 10 minute walk away.
