Comfortable 4 Br, 2 Ba bungalow in convenient Salt Lake City location, with quick and easy access to Sugarhouse, downtown SLC, and ski resorts!
Walking distance to a number of Millcreek neighborhood restaurants and businesses, 1.5 miles from the heart of the Sugarhouse neighborhood shopping and nightlife, 15 minutes to downtown SLC, and 30-40 minutes to Park City, Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton.
The space
The open kitchen and living room on the main floor provides comfortable seating for 6, with additional seating for 4 at the island counter, and a large beanbag chair to pull out when additional seating is needed.
From the kitchen, access the covered back porch and patio space, where there is a Traeger grill, patio chairs and side tables.
With 4 queen beds there are enough beds to sleep 8 adults comfortably. There is also a futon in the master bedroom. Our recommendation is that the living room and kitchen area will most comfortably accommodate 5-6 adults.
Kitchen
The kitchen includes an island counter with seating for 4, and is equipped with a convection oven, electric stove top, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, and coffee maker. It will be stocked with coffee, popcorn, oil, basic spices, and all the cookware, utensils, cleaning products, etc., you should need for your stay.
The Traeger wood pellet grill on the back porch is also a great option for cooking. Full instructions for firing up and shutting down the grill are provided for reference. If you like to grill and haven't cooked on a Traeger, you don't know what you're missing!
Bedrooms
There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, both with queen beds.
The bottom floor includes the master bedroom with a queen bed, futon, 43" Roku TV, large walk-in closet, and direct access to the master bathroom, which is shared between the two rooms. The 2nd bedroom includes a queen bed, with access to the shared bathroom through the laundry room. New carpet was installed downstairs in May 2023.
Bathrooms
Both floors include full bathrooms with updated walk-in showers, each stocked with towels and toiletries needed for your visit.
Entertainment
YouTubeTV service is provided and accessed using RokuTV devices provided. Guests are also welcome to sign-in to their Netflix, Amazon, or other media accounts for viewing on the TVs.
Parking
There is ample parking in the driveway and on the street directly in front of the house. The garage is not available for use by guests.
Laundry
Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer to do laundry. Detergent is provided for your convenience.
Other things to note
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE respect our house, and especially our neighbors. We regret to have to post the following, but it has become necessary.
Noise
Since we've started hosting and the weather has turned warmer, we've had a couple complaints from our neighbors about noisy guests. Our quiet hours have been updated to start at 9pm, but regardless of the stated quiet hours, please be respectful of the full time residents in the neighborhood and keep the noise to a minimum, especially when outside, and especially during the work week. If your group is loud, we will hear about it, and we will address it immediately. If you have any concerns about being able to keep noise to a MINIMUM we recommend you find other accommodations for your visit.
Illegal Substances
We've also gotten complaints from neighbors about guests consuming illegal substances, the odor of which has been clearly identifiable, and is of significant concern to all residents, especially those with children. Please note that Marijuana is illegal in UT. If we hear from the neighbors that it is being consumed, you will be asked to leave IMMEDIATELY. If you have any concerns about this, again, we recommend that you find other accommodations for your visit.
