It was our first family vacation in the long time. Cabin was great, we had every thing we needed. Place was clean, walking distance or 1 min drive to the the lake. Every one in the community was very friendly and accommodating. Annie is a great host she promptly responded to all our questions, I personally appreciate the fact that we had nothing unexpected surprises. We'll definitely will come again and stay at cozy little cabin. Thank you Annie.

This place was great for so many reasons. Privacy, quiet, more space than the pictures give justice. Close to the town and lake that the little community offers. Lots of very nice locals. We stayed for 5 nights and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. If you are looking to relax and unplug from your daily grind, this is the place to do it. We are definitely interested in visiting again.

There are definite pros and cons to this place: Pros: 1) If you like hiking and being away from people, this is a nice spot. The mountains and foliage are beautiful. 2) The house is mostly clean and has some cool features like a large shower. It's also pet friendly. 3) Owner is friendly and on top of communication. 4) Clean linens and towels. Cons: 1) The bugs. I expected spiders and moths etc. because you're basically out in the wilderness but the ants drove me insane. It kind of diminished the "vacation" feel of our stay. 2) The $15 extra charge for making more than one bed and the $80 cleaning fee. I didn't think, looking at the house, that $80 worth of cleaning happened before our arrival. I happened to talk to a local who knows the cleaning service used there and they don't charge that much. Hearing that was off putting... especially when we did our own dishes, put the towels in the hamper and were expected to take out the trash before we left, etc. 3) This has nothing to do with the accommodations, the house or the host but is a word of caution for anyone looking for a fun getaway: This is not the town to do it in. There is little to nothing to do here besides maybe wade in the lake or hike. There are very few stores, fewer decent restaurants and if you do happen to find one, it probably closes before sunset. Even the bars. If you're looking for a small "out of the way" place to relax and do nothing, then this is it, but if you're looking for more of an activity based vacation, look elsewhere.

We stayed at Annie's beautiful little cozy cabin over the weekend, we loved this cabin ! We have never stayed at Green valley before and from now on we will be staying there more often. Very quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake and not crowded like big bear lake. Cabin was so much more than what I expected for the price we payed, large spacious living room with "everything you need" kitchen, I loved bedroom ... bedroom was my favorite part with huge shower, I felt so comfortable in his cabin that I slept almost throughout all weekend, super clean place with all amenities we needed. If you're looking to get away from crazy Los Angeles crowd, this is the place you want to be. Annie was absolutely wonderful host! All directions were provided with very quick respond, as I said before super clean house with everything provided for comfort. Thank you Annie for extra pillow and blankets and super cozy place. So happy we found this location. Today we got our kayaks and soon we will be back to this cabin and Green valley lake. Very positive energy out there ! Annie's let us have a late checkout which made a huge difference, instead of rushing we just took out time drinking coffee and enjoying the sound of birds. Thank you so much for a great weekend. Looking forward to come back soon!

Annie is an awesome host, the place was really quiet and calm. Very friendly neighbors and the walk down to and around the lake and back is right around 1.3mile walk so it's perfect for an afternoon stroll. The town is charming. Wifi is suprisingly fast (28mb/s) Haha. The beds are comfortable and the cabin is cozy. Warning for people who are 6' and taller, the bathroom height is a bit low. We'll be back again!
