Stairs are small and sharp, fridge is small, but it's nice and cozy. Great bedroom and the bathroom is beautiful.

The cabin was cozy. Only thing is that the restroom was downstairs and I have arthritis in both knees. Other then that our stay was awesome being close to nature and lots and lots of trees

Definitely a great place to get away! We enjoyed walking around the lake and the small neighborhood with our pooch. Keep in mind there is no door separating the upstairs and downstairs. It would be difficult (and maybe dangerous) for young children and older individuals with the steep stairs. You must go downstairs to use the bathroom. There was plenty of space to spread out and everything has been updated (hard to find a cabin that looks good!). An added bonus was the fireplace. We bought fragrant wood from the general store and it was wonderful. It seems most of the issues in previous reviews have been fixed (can opener, toilet paper, etc). It is great that you can bring your dog, but there was a lot of white dog hair from the previous people. Also, lots of bugs, but to be expected? Overall, we LOVED the space and the location/neighborhood.

Annie was a fabulous host! We loved the cozy little cabin. Even though there was plenty of snow outside we stayed nice & warm inside. There was even more space downstairs that we didn't even need.

I was excited to stay in Annie's cabin based on the reviews but I left disappointing. Her house keeper did not do a good job cleaning. I found hairs in the shower and the toilet did not look like it was just cleaned. We also found hairs on the fitted sheet. The listing says that essentials are provided but there was only 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels and no extra trash bags for our 3 night stay. Please keep in mind that you will need to take the trash with you to a dumpster. Annie unfortunately did not leave us instructions on where to take the trash on a weekday and there were no extra trash bags for us to use. There was going to be a snow storm the night of our check in which may be why the house keeper rushed out of the house without properly cleaning. This is no excuse though! Our check in time was 3pm which is when it started lightly snowing. I expressed my concerns to Annie but she never replied back to me. I wanted to give her a chance to explain and apologize. I use Airbnb all the time and have never left someone a bad review :( The location of the cabin was awesome however! There was a great backyard area for our dog to play in and we ended up getting a lot of snow that weekend so we could sled in the front yard and build a snowman. The general store and lake were both walking distance which was great. All of the neighbors and people in town were very friendly! I will definitely be coming back to Green Valley Lake but staying in a different home.

Response from Annie:
Thank you for your feedback, I was traveling myself. I regret to hear that you weren't satisfied with your stay. This is the first time I have heard there is an issue with the cleanliness of the building, I take pride in this Airbnb. Based on your feedback we have make the appropriate corrections and improvement . To clarify your concerns with the trash, the community dumpster is only open on weekends, you can either take the trash with you or leave it and we will remove it for you at a fee that the housekeeper charges, (pass through to the guest) This is not by my choice.
