A calm desert-themed bedroom overlooking a lovely garden with ample desk & shelving space, next to Gunnersbury Park.

4min walk from Acton Town tube, 20min from Heathrow or Central London.

The space

Should you require more space please look at our other rooms - Funky twin bed & Lovely sgl bedroom.

This is probably the only bed & breakfast in the world featuring a grand piano and recording studio complete with control room and live recording areas. We are lecturer/writers in every sense - music and words - our extensive library is proof of that.

Guest access

We don't treat any area of this artistic house as strictly off limits, but we expect our guests to respect our privacy as much as we respect theirs. You share one of two bathrooms with your fellow guests. A continental breakfast is available in the living room.

Interaction with guests

As creative professionals we tend to work from home. Between 11am and 5pm including weekends we’d appreciate having the place to ourselves. We speak English, German, French, Polish and Russian.

Other things to note

Bicycle hire - £5/h or £20/d per bike. Washer/Dryer - £5 per load. Do contact us if you have any other special requirements.

Smooth and easy going stay. The bed itself was uncomfortable

This is a really cheep stay for London, perfect for exploring the city and getting to Heathrow airport due to the near tube station. Highly recommend it, if you don't insist on an extremly clean kitchen. I guess that is due to the different guests using it and no one seems to be responsible to clean it up. But it is not dirty in a disgusting way, just a wee bit messy and i happily cooked my breakfast there every morning.

Yak and Maddy are very nice. The house is big and I had my own room with all, what I need. It was amazing

Great spot, super close to a Piccadilly tube station which makes the trip to London a breeze, a few local stores to keep you stocked, and great hosts.

Pretty much as advertised. Cozy means "quite small", but in London, that's about right. Do note that while you don't share a bathroom with the host, you may end up sharing with the occupants of the other two rooms. It worked out okay in terms of timing for us, but if you're not keen to share, realize that will be the case. Yak was very hospitable and kind. We showed up early and surprised him, and he didn't mind a bit. We never met Maddy. We felt welcome to use the kitchen to make some tea in the evenings, and while there were breakfast items available, we opted to go out for all our meals. Very direct access to the underground and no problems at all accessing central London. We did our thing, and they went on with day to day living, and honestly, we were rarely there. Overall, if you're looking for a convenient place to sleep with no frills, this is the place!

My friend and I work as creative professionals and university lecturers. Our house is full of books, musical instruments and even a recording studio.
