When we first went to Porto in 2016, we both fell in love.

After discovering the locals, the delicious food and culture, we soon started dreaming of our own place in Portugal. You'll recognize this feeling. But as usual, that feeling disappears again, once the daily routine returns. Still, it kept itchy and when we were traveling through Portugal for 5 weeks with our camper from north to south it was clear: we want this. So it happened, we bought our apartment in Porto.

Porto has everything from a big city, but without the downsides. No mass tourism, friendly people, not expensive, helpful. A city with a rich culture, historic buildings, sea and a good climate: not too hot but sunny. In short, ideal for a short or longer vacation.

We are happy to share our passion for this country, this city, and the people. We hope to host you soon in our apartment on the coast in Porto.

Dear Portola lover, After these strange times, it is urgently time that we can put our nose back a little more outside. It is time again to discover beautiful places, to get out by bike, or on foot. Fortunately, the Portuguese government has addressed the Corona crisis in a good way, making Portugal reasonably healthy from this corona time. The borders are slowly reopening. The Portuguese are ready again with their hospitality and laughing to welcome us with open arms! And of course they are happy to let us enjoy their treats, such as a glass of Porto on a terrace in the sun, a Pastel de Nata with a nice coffee, and so many other tasty things you can still discover... It's time to start dreaming of beautiful trips, a beach vacation, a city trip! Our apartment in Porto is still the perfect base for this. Hours of walking along the beach, by bike towards the city, by car/train to a neighboring village or town. It's all back at your fingertips. You can reach Porto from Brussels, Charleroi as well as Eindhoven and Amsterdam. We hope to welcome you soon! Check out our site for the available dates. In Porto, temperatures are pleasant until the end of October, then the temperature starts to drop but it never gets as cold as in Belgium J. In mid-August to mid-September, all grape vines are in full bloom in the Douro creek. That's one of the most beautiful images on earth you must have seen. Mountains full of grapes as far as you can see. You will see the local farmers driving up and down with full tons of grapes that you can see live squeeze in the local Quintas and then tasting with breathtaking views. Kurt and An
