This is a romantic converted wine cave with a magnificent view overlooking the Orb river and vineyards. It is two minutes walk from the café bar, the boulangerie, several restaurants, tabac, canoe centre, tennis courts, Mediterranean
gardens, cave co-operative, wine degustation, grocery, Friday market, bus stop and river bank for swimming. Roquebrun itself is situated in the Parc Regional do Haut Languedoc. It is within easy reach of several lakes where one can water ski, sail, and snorkel.

The space
Roquebrun is most famous for its canoe centre which takes guests upriver in a mini-bus and then lets them come down river in a canoe with packed lunch. It is a medieval village with careful management and preservation by the local Mairie. It is ideal for young people who want activity or others who simply want to read a book, bathe in the river or watch the world go bye. One can well survive there without a car as there are 3/4 buses each day to Beziers where one can connect to other areas by train, bus or plane. Roquebrun has a micro climate.

Guest access
Guests can access the entire studio space with no other people. This includes a private bathroom - toilet, wash basin and large shower.

Other things to note
There is a very small balcony - just big enough for 2 people to have a pizza and a glass of wine and watch the world go by

The village is particularly beautiful and has a very calm relaxed atmosphere. The hub of the village both during the day and in the evening is the café bar. There is also an orangerie where one can enjoy a coffee or an ice-cream as well as the Tabac which has delicious wraps and sandwiches for sale. A gentle stroll through the old medieval part of the village is a delight - old doorways, windows, cobblestones, limestone drinking troughs turned into flower pots, shaded places to rest, a beautiful old church, traces of old signage still on the walls such as "Choclaterie".
